I tried out Fresh Green Mix yesterday over Cash Flow paint pot – interesting combo. I think I will try the same duo today, but over a green base instead. I LOVE Dainty – anyone who thinks it isn’t pigmented enough for deeper skintones is nuts. Totally popped on my cheeks (I’m NC30) with EASE. I used the 129 brush (finally have a use for it!), and it worked like a dream.

I used Cash Flow paint pot on lid, Fresh Green Mix mineralize eyeshadow duo (solid side) (LE) all over lid, Fresh Green Mix mineralize eyeshadow duo (marbled side) (LE) on outer crease and lid, Ricepaper eyeshadow above crease and on brow to highlight, Fresh Green Mix mineralize eyeshadow duo (solid side) (LE) on lower lash line, Graphblack technakohl on lower lash line, and Plushlash mascara on lashes. I had Dainty mineralize blush on cheeks. I wore Fast Thrill lipstick (LE) with Politely Pink lipglass (LE) on my lips.

An easy neutral look, mostly because I felt like a bold lip today Plus, I’m probably having lunch with the Mama, and she appreciates a good natural kind of look.

By the way, can I just say how much I love discovering new lip combinations? Seriously. If only it was my job in life!

I used Cash Flow paint pot (LE) on lid, Femme-fi eyeshadow (LE) on inner lid, Nylon eyeshadow on middle of lid, Bronze eyeshadow on outer lid and above outer crease, Woodwinked eyeshadow on outer crease, Evening Aura eyeshadow (LE) above inner crease, Ricepaper eyeshadow on brow bone to highlight, Molten Sol liquidlast liner (LE) on upper lash line, Feline kohl power (LE) on lower lash line, Femme-fi eyeshadow (LE) on lower lash line, and Plushlash mascara on lashes. I had Lillicent blushcreme stippled on cheeks with Sunbasque blush overlaid and Dior SkinShimmer in Amber Diamond to highlight. I wore Sci Fi Delity lipstick (LE) with Pink Grapefruit lipglass (LE) and Red Romp lipglass (LE).

So I know we had a post a few weeks ago about what kind of look would you want to wear but haven’t, and a lot of you mentioned red lips. You’re not alone with having a bit of trepidation when it comes to consideration a red lip–I have plenty! Especially when it comes to deeper, vampy reds. I invite you to take the Temptalia Red Lips Challenge and try out some reds for yourself. If you’d like to post your results, just send them along to temptalia@gmail.com. For my challenge, I chose my arch nemesis: Alta Moda. You can see how Alta Moda looks on its own, but how I attempted to make it more “me” friendly by adding a lipglass on top. Plus, you can see a comparison of this look with and without upper lash liner.

I had Other Worldly blush (LE) on cheeks with Daisydust beauty powder (PRO) to highlight. I wore Alta Moda prolongwear with clear gloss and Red Romp lipglass (LE) (in some photos) on my lips.

Looks – Easy Valentine’s Day Makeup, Gold, Bronze, Neutral, Work Safe

I tried to do something kind of “classic” in terms of makeup for upcoming Valentine’s Day. (I wore the complete opposite practically when my boyfriend and I went out on our early Valentine’s dinner on Monday–I’m sick and didn’t want to lose my taste if we went closer to the date, ha.) By the way, I put on false lashes in less than a minute! Success! Finally! Seriously, I have always been 100% lash stupid. I felt like dancing Also, working on a tutorial as you read this… Done!

I used Cash Flow paint pot all over lid, Goldmine eyeshadow on inner lid, Patina eyeshadow on middle lid, Bronze eyeshadow on outer lid, Smut eyeshadow in outer crease and very outer corner, Bamboo eyeshadow on brow and above crease, Smut eyeshadow on lower outer lash line, Goldmine eyeshadow on inner lower lash line, and Graphblack technakohl on lower waterline. I had Margin blush on cheeks with Sculpt sculpting powder to contour. I wore Russian Red lipstick with Russian Red lipglass on lips.
