MAC Lavish Rose Lip Gloss Set ($32.50) includes four shades: Demure (warm pink with blue pearl), Going Casual (no description), Colour Saturation (no description), and Boys Go Crazy (deep amethyst).
Each Dazzleglass contains 0.09 oz., while each Dazzleglass Creme/Cremesheen Glass contains 0.07 oz. Of all MAC’s holiday products, their lipgloss sets are one of the best in terms of value. The Dazzleglasses in the kits are larger (in quantity) than the full-sized versions. In this set, there is $29.25 worth of Dazzleglass, $34.13 worth of Cremesheen Glass, and $15.17 worth of Dazzleglass Creme, which is a total of $78.55 in lipgloss.
Demure is a pale, cool-toned milky pink with iridescent blue sparkle. It has semi-sheer to semi-opaque color coverage and some settling into lip lines, though the sparkle distracts from that. It wore for two hours on me. MAC Pagoda is darker. MAC Going Casual is similar but doesn’t have the same kind of shimmer–a little more pigmented. MAC Cultureclash is similar.
Going Casual is pale, blue-based cotton candy pink with very subtle shimmer. It is mostly a cream finish, and it was hard to apply it evenly–it had a tendency to slide over itself and create lines. This shade is a repromote. This shade wore two hours on me. MAC Long Love Love is more opaque, lighter. MAC Snob is lighter and cooler-toned. MAC Angel is warmer.
Colour Saturation is a rich red-berry with a creamy, glossy finish. It is semi-opaque and though some settles into lip lines, it is not noticeable. This is a repromote. This shade lasted three hours on me. MAC Galaxy Rose is softer. MAC Rebel is more berry and darker. Dolce & Gabbana Vibrant is similar, a little darker. MAC Indigo Pink is shimmery. NARS Bougainville is redder.
Boys Go Crazy is a semi-opaque purple-berry with purple, violet, and blue sparkle. It was a bit of a pain to apply evenly, and as soon as I pressed my lips together, it was uneven again. This shade is a repromote. This color lasted four hours on my lips. MAC Spanking Rich is a lot lighter and sheerer. MAC Flight of Fancy is much darker, redder.
All four glosses are vanilla-scented, but the Dazzleglasses have a brush-type applicator, while the Cremesheen Glasses have a doe-foot applicator. Cremesheen is a lighter-weight, non-sticky formula, while Dazzleglasses are thicker and have a tacky texture. Dazzleglasses tend to wear longer on me as compared to Cremesheen Glasses, which is a formula that is lucky to last two hours on me (I normally get three to four with glosses!)
Two of the four had noticeable problems with achieving even color, so they are less versatile (better over another lip product), and two shades were short on wear.

Dazzleglass: Boys Go Crazy, Fabulous Fun, Glamour OD, Hi-Falutin’, Spanking Rich, Utterly Posh, You Got the Look
MAC Digi-Pops: Dazzleglass
Oh, Dazzleglass — why must you be so pricey for such a teeny, tiny amount? It’s really such a shame, given your packaging–all long and round and large in the right places! Dazzleglass is a slightly tacky, thicker lip gloss with a high dosage of glitter with sheer to semi-sheer color. Nordstrom will see seven shades as part of Digi-Pops, but for whatever reason, they’re not available for pre-order online (but I know stores were doing pre-orders for them).
Glamour OD, Spanking Rich, and Utterly Posh are repromotes, but the other four shades are new.
Dazzleglass ($18.50 U.S. / $21.50 CDN)
Boys Go Crazy is a darkened plum-berry purple with iridescent purple and blue-violet glitter. It’s a little vampy but the sheerness keeps it from being a total, in-your-face kind of shade.
Fabulous Fun is a semi-sheer, brightened fuchsia-pink with fuchsia-purple glitter. It gave my lips noticeable color, but it’s still on the sheerer side.
Glamour OD is a brightened red with a touch of silver and pink glitter. This is a repromote.
Hi-Falutin’ is a sheer, softened peach-coral with gold glitter. It looks more like a milky peach with subtle gold glitter on lips.
Spanking Rich is a semi-sheer, softened pink mauve with fuchsia glitter. This is a repromote.
Utterly Posh is a semi-sheer darkened orange with a little brown and orange-gold glitter. This is a repromote.
You Got the Look is a brightened tangerine orange with almost teal glitter. It has a rather milky base, and it needs to be applied with some precision to keep it from gathering when you press your lips together.

RECOMMENDATION: I’m always going to get frustrated with the itty bitty amount of product you get in each dazzleglass, despite the the lip gloss being rather pretty.
Dazzle Lipstick: Baby’s On Fire, Glaringly Hip, Hellraiser, Hot Sass, Infused with Glam
Preview: MAC Dazzle Lipstick & Dazzleglass from Digi-Pop
MAC Digi-Pops: Lip Server Collection is available for pre-order at your local Nordstrom. It doesn’t launch until July 15th, but pre-orders are in full swing. There are thirteen shades of new (and of course, limited edition!) Dazzle Lipsticks and seven shades (some new, some repromoted, but all limited edition) Dazzleglasses.
I didn’t test any of these my lips, so I really can’t comment on the wear or feel on the lips. (Sorry all, I couldn’t bring myself to use a tester — the germaphobe in me refused to participate!) The Dazzle Lipsticks did not feel gritty or rough when I swatched them–surprisingly smooth. They look like they varied from sheer to semi-sheer in color, but it’s difficult to know for sure just how sheer or opaque they may lean without swatching them on lips. (Which I fully intend to do, when I’m able to pick up my pre-order!)
