I know this is kind of… after-the-fact, but this is SUCH an awesome idea for beauty enthusiasts!!
To those who celebrate, Merry Christmas! We don’t celebrate religiously, but we do celebrate it as a family holiday–a time to come together, enjoy each other’s companies, and exchange gifts. The older I get, the more practical (and domestic) my wish list becomes! I ended up with a few coveted items from Le Creuset (thank goodness for outlets!) in my favorite shade, Caribbean Blue. I’ve always watched and re-watched one of my favorite holiday movies, which is aptly named The Holiday; Kate Winslet and Jack Black make my heart melt in it. Not really a Christmas classic but one I always return to. With my family, we always watch Christmas Vacation and A Christmas Story I hope you’re all having a fabulous weekend and sharing it with loved ones!
How’s it going? The holiday season is in full swing, which means I’ve been, more or less, holing up indoors and avoiding the craziness that is holiday shoppers! I tell you, every time I’ve driven somewhere this weekend there was at least one close call. I’ll just do any last minute holiday shopping online Stay safe lovelies!!
How is your Sunday going so far? How about your weekend? I managed to do quite a bit of cleaning and organizing this weekend, so even though the apartment is completely overflowing, it does feel and look tidier than it has in weeks! There’s almost room to breathe again
How are you? I hope you’ve been having a nice weekend thus far. Today’s plans include blogging (but of course!), some freelance work, and then working on a jigsaw puzzle with Shaun while football is on (thank goodness for RedZone!). Sometimes I’m at a total loss as to what to say on Sundays, just because my life has a lot of routine, which is really how I like it–I operate so much better when I’m on a schedule and keep to a routine. I am much more productive that way! And speaking of routines, Mellan’s internal clock is always impressive. He knows exactly when it’s time for breakfast (9AM) and when it’s time for dinner (5PM); he’ll come to me at my desk and squeeze his head through the arms of my chair and firmly press his bony jaw against my thigh or arm until I relent and feed him.
How are you? I hope you’ve been enjoying your weekend–perhaps cozied up with a good book or catching up on TV. I’m pretty sure we’ll be spending most of our morning grocery shopping, because our refrigerator is empty. And I’m hungry!
