I’ve been really bumming today… just utterly exhausted — this cold is kicking my butt when I really need to be kicking its butt. Argh! It’s been a completely wasted day for me, and if you know me, you know there is nothing more frustrating for me than not being productive. You can’t get time back!
Hope you survived the holiday weekend! My outlines for my finals are looking GORGEOUS! and coming along nicely. Just need to buckle down over the next few days to get all that studying and paper-writing in!
Koren shares tips on what makeup to wear for photos!
Happy weekend!
Normally, I do a roundup of my favorite links on Sunday, as a nice way to end the week, but today is very special — Pawcurious along with several other pet bloggers have joined together for a 24-hour blogathon to raise money for various pet charities and organizations. You can also keep up with the blogathon on Twitter.
As Sunday wraps up, I just wanted to spend a few moments thanking everyone for their kindness over the past week. It’s been a rather tough week for me personally, where many things just reached a boiling point, and I really felt like I had too many balls in the air and not enough hands to keep them all there! The support you have shown me, via the blogging scholarship contest, was absolutely overwhelming and truly humbling.
I think we have definitely given others some food for thought — we are smart, savvy men and women who enjoy our makeup as much as we enjoy our friends, family, careers, education, or whatever pursuits we may have in our individual lives. Makeup for us is not about masking ourselves but an expression of who we are. It is only one facet people see, while we are all incredible people with a variety of backgrounds. At the end of the day, makeup is FUN!
Thank you for your comments and support! It means so much to me to have it, and it serves as just one more reminder about why I blog, why I enjoy it so much.
It’s a cold, rainy afternoon here–first rain in what feels awhile… Earlier this week, it was scorching, so it’s kind of weird to have such a gloomy, gray sky lurking above. I feel like it’s still 6am and the fog hasn’t burned off yet! I’m gearing up to studying for the MPRE and polishing an essay to turn in on Tuesday. Hope your Sunday plans entail more fun than mine!
