Kristen Stewart @ 85th Annual Academy Awards

Kristen Stewart arrives at the 85th Annual Academy Awards on February 24th, 2013.

Makeup Breakdown

Makeup artist Beau Nelson created Kristen Stewart’s look tonight:

Kristen’ss dress is a beautiful Reem Acra Couture Ombre Rosé colored gown with intricate Swarovski detail. I wanted to create a beautiful
rose monochrome look with creamy skin, rose cheeks and rose lips, I even used rose colored shadow under smoky layers of taupe and brown to create a very diffused smoky eye.

I started by prepping the skin with Sublimage eye cream and Hydra Serum to hydrate the skin, layered with Sublimage La Creme to give the skin a beautiful dewy glow. I used a sponge to apply Blanc Universel to the high planes of the face and under the eyes for a subtle highlighting effect. I used two shades of Aqua Lumiere compact makeup to create a flawless but natural looking skin, and used Correcteur 10 under the eyes to brighten.

I applied Rose Favorite shadow to the crease of the eye and all the way around the eye, with a soft brush to create a super soft focus pink haze around the eye, and then I applied the Raffinement quad shadows in smoky layers around the eye and into the pink shadow I had applied before. I used the darkest shade near the outer edge of the eye, top and bottom, to give it shape. I then applied Santal liner to
the top lashes and blended well. I curled lashes and applied Black Volume Mascara top and bottom.

For cheeks I contoured the face with Notorious blush and applied Tumulte blush to the apples of the cheekbones and blended back towards the hairline quite low on the cheek to preserve the highlights of the face. I finished by applying Translucent powder all over the face except the tops of the cheekbones.

I defined brows with Brow Sourcils pencil in Brun Cendre and brushed them upwards.

Lips were shaded with Rubelite lip liner and 11 Legende lipstick applied with a brush but then blended slightly with my finger to create a soft focus lip that wasn’t too “done”

Kristen Stewart @ MET Ball 2011

Kristen Stewart had her hair styled by Adir Abergel for Frederic Fekkai for this year’s MET Ball. Abergel wanted a hint of glamour with beautiful fullness and texture with a tousled, low chignon.

Hair How-to

Abergel started out by applying Fekkai Coiff™ Bouffant Lifting & Texturizing Spray Gel to the roots to add volume and then loosely dried the hair with his hands. With a ¾ inch iron he created a natural wave and sprayed Fekkai Beach Waves to keep the curl. Then he let the hair fall into a rough middle part and pulled the hair back into a low chignon. To secure the look, Abergel finished with the Fekkai Coiff™ Sheer Hold Spray letting a few pieces fall in front to shape the face.

Sorry, I can’t even look at the makeup, because I can’t believe she’s SMILING!

Hair How-to:

Frederic Fekkai’s Adir Abergel tended to the tresses of Twilight’s Best Performance, Kristen Stewar, and his inspiration was, “A sleek and edgy high ponytail with added movement.”

Adir applied Fekkai Full Blown Volume™ Styling Whip from the roots to the ends to create volume. He then dried the hair using his hands. With a one inch curling iron, he curled the top sections of the hair in various directions to add movement. For added texture, Adir applied Fekkai Beach Waves to loosen the curls. He then pulled the hair into a high ponytail and secured with a piece of hair from the underneath by wrapping it around the base of the ponytail; this creates a beautiful, clean hold. To finish the look, Adir added Fekkai Coiff™ Sheer Hold Hairspray for all night hold.

This look works, from faraway — up close it almost looks too heavy, but I think it’s just right when you pull away.

Hair How-to

INSPIRATION: A modern, edgy look with a young vibe

Campora started out by applying FEKKAI COIFF STRONG HOLD VOLUME MOUSSE combing the product through the hair. He dried the hair straight using a FEKKAI LARGE ROUND BRUSH. He then used a 1 inch curling iron to create waves and texture. He added the FEKKAI AU NATURAL DRY SHAMPOO for extra volume and movement. He tied a number of loose braids on the sides of the head beginning half way down the strands, leaving them untied at the ends to create extra dimension to the look. He then pulled all the hair back into a low chignon and secured with large bobby pins. He finished with FEKKAI GLOSSING SHEER MIST for shine and FEKKAI SHEER HOLD HAIRSPRAY for all night hold.

Get Kristen Stewart’s Hair Style @ the VMAs!

With a totally new hair cut and style, Kristen Stewart debuted her short, edgy locks when she presented on stage.  Celebrity Stylist for Pantene, Hallie Bowman, styled her hair.

Get the Look

  • Hallie started by shampooing and conditioning Kristen’s hair with a moisturizing formula to create a good base for styling
  • She began by cutting bangs to create roundness around the cheekbones, a look that is complimentary of her heart shape face
  • Hallie applied the Pantene Pro-V Volume Root Lifter Gel from root to tip to begin building volume, as well as the Pantene Pro-V Texture Spray Wax to make hair more malleable for styling
  • Then, she blow dried Kristen’s hair while brushing it away from the scalp, periodically flipping her hair over to ensure lots of volume at the crown
  • Hallie then pinned sections of her hair back with bobby pins to secure it away from the face, leaving some pieces around the face to give the illusion of a bob with bangs – a nod to the bowl cut, but with a modern feel
  • To polish off the look, Hallie used the Pantene Pro-V Smooth Serum to give Kristen’s hair long lasting shine for the night
