Illamasqua’s Intense Lipglosses are definitely the first to come to mind, as they are deliberately opaque and usually deliver! Urban Decay’s Revolution glosses are pretty opaque as well. The lipgloss/stain hybrids (Giorgio Armani, YSL Glossy Stains, etc.) are also nice but aren’t quite gloss, IMO.

I like Marc Jacobs Highliners the most, followed by Stila’s Smudgestick liners. I also like MAC Chromagraphic Pencils, but the shade range is more basic/primary, so I just don’t end up reaching for the shades in the range.
Kat Von D’s is the most matte and most comfortable from the ones I have tried, plus the majority of the shades perform the same, which is a nice perk.
I’m a big fan of Urban Decay’s Matte Revolutions, which have that really comfy, velvety consistency but still retain a more matte finish. Estee Lauder Pure Color Matte Lipsticks also has a similar formula, which is easy to wear.
I have light-medium skin with warmer, yellow undertones, but I am not super yellow-toned (a lot of true-yellow foundations are TOO yellow for me, as I have learned lately!). That being said, Chanel Jersey is my absolute go-to. If I don’t know what blush to pair with an eye/lip, this one always works!
