Beauty-full luggage tags, anyone? Dior’s Addicted to Dior Lip Gloss luggage tags popped up on Nordstrom this morning. (Can you tell I *STALK* Nordstrom’s beauty site?) Who’s shelling out $60 for one of these?
CND launches Shellac Hybrid Nail Color, is a new move to rejuvenate the nail salon business. It’s designed to wear for at least fourteen days and takes thirty minutes to complete. It’s applied like a polish manicure, but each coat is set under a UV lamp like a gel. The removal and reapplication process is estimated to take amoutn forty-five minutes. Will you be trying Shellac when it hits your local salon?
Tom Ford will launch twelve shades of Private Blend Lip Color–April in Europe, June in the U.S.–revolving around classic lip colors. In the U.S., we’ll see it launched in approximately 30 doors, including Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, and Bergdorf Goodman. Kind of cool that Europeans will see this before the U.S., yeah? Make Up For Ever‘s Alliance member James Vincent created a smoky eye for Joan Jett for the NY premiere of “The Runaways.” He used HD Elixir and HD Invisible Cover (117) to create a luminous canvas with just a bit of HD Invisible Cover Concealer and HD Microfinish Powder. On the eyes, he used #35 from brown to lash for a base, then swept Diamond Powder #11 across the brow bone to highlight. He used Eyeshadow #13 to give depth to the crease and to line the top and bottom lashes. To line eyes, he used Aqua Eyes #0L with #2L to add richness. On cheeks, he used Eyeshadow #13 to contour and Powder Blush #69 on the apples of cheek and a touch of Matte Bronze #2 to add life. He finished the lips with Aqua Lip Pencil #3C and Fascinating Lip Gloss #9.

Chanel Rouge Coco makes it much-anticipated debut in-store and online with thirty shades to choose from (and at $30 a piece!).

H&M does skincare, which will debut in stores in the beginning of March. It’ll include shower gel, body scrub, body lotion, hand cream and lip balm, in either raspberry and melon or lavender and mint. The products have natural and organic ingredients that are certified by Ecocert.
Givenchy launched a new scent called Ange ou Demon Le Secret, which they describe as “a delicate, radiant floral fruity fragrance.” Top notes are Italian Winter Lemon, Cranberry, Green Tea Leaves; middle notes are Sambac Jasmine, White Peony, Water Flowers; and Bottom: Blond Woods, Patchouli, White Musk.
