The formula is described as “delivering a sheer wash of catwalk color” while being hydrating and highly reflective. This is the other new and limited edition color for the holidays, and it’s much more pigmented than Lame Gold. This has semi-opaque color coverage; there’s a noticeable translucency to the overall color, but there is quite a bit of pigmentation packed into the tube. It’s definitely more color than a “sheer wash of … color.” So, that gain might be your gain, or it might be a deal-breaker depending on your preference in opacity for gloss!
The texture of Dior’s Ultra Glosses is really lovely and comfortable to apply and wear. It’s not thin, but it’s not heavy either; it feels cushion-y and gel-like on the lips. When I tested Ceremony Red, it wore for four hours, and it was nicely hydrating during that period. It’s also non-sticky, and the brush applicator doesn’t leave streaks behind.
If you're looking for a more opaque red gloss but don't want anything that's fully opaque, you might like Ceremony Red, which still offers some translucency but doesn't skimp on the color.

The formula is described as “delivering a sheer wash of catwalk color” while being hydrating and highly reflective. It’s a new and limited shade for the holidays, and I suspect this shade is best for layering over red and berry-hued lipsticks to add a little shimmer and warmth. It’s a wash of color/shimmer, and the finish is extremely glossy and shiny. Lame Gold wore for three hours, which was surprising, because of the sheerness.
It comes with a brush-type applicator in a clear, square tube. The consistency is thick without being gloppy, heavy, or sticky. It has an almost gel-like, cushion-y feel on the lips. It was lightly moisturizing when I wore it back-to-back for six hours. After two hours, I did notice a very slight grit from the glitter/sparkle, but it wasn’t overly noticeable.
You have to love the formula and be willing to pay for that for a sheer gloss, because sheer glosses, while they have their place and are great for layering, are easier to dupe at all price points.

Dior Pink Stiletto (234) Ultra Gloss ($27.00 for 0.21 oz.) is a sheer pink and gold shimmered gloss. It’s virtually colorless and just lends lots of added shine and shimmer atop your natural lip color. Ultra Gloss is moisturizing with a very smooth, slick feel with a shimmering sparkle that’s noticeable without being overwhelming.
my thoughts on the formula: The strength of Ultra Gloss lies in its formula–I really think it’s the feel and look of the product that makes this gloss worth checking out. It’s completely non-sticky and has no scent or taste. All these characteristics leads me to think that a lot of lipgloss fans will enjoy them. I did find that these only lasted just under two hours on me, and then all that remained was the shimmer/micro glitter, and I’d say this was the major downside of this gloss.
The formula is so comfortable to wear, because it has a soft, smooth texture that's non-sticky, moisturizing, and just feels nice. Unfortunately, it disappears too quickly--less than two hours--and normally, I get around three to four with gloss.

Dior Trianon Silver (707) Ultra Gloss ($26.50 for 0.21 oz.) is a a sheer silvered-gray hued gloss with silver, white, and fuchsia micro-shimmer. It seemed quite reminiscent of Chanel Aragonite, but when worn, they look quite different–Dior has a much finer shimmer with a milkier pale base that gives lips a paler, whiter look, while Chanel’s shimmer seems to catch more light. From afar, they look similar when worn.

FINAL THOUGHTS: The formula is slick and comfortable to wear without being drying, though it only lasts a couple of hours. This shade is on the sheerer side, but I’m sure that’s for the better, given it is also a silvery gray. It should suit all skin tones, both from the lack of traditional color and sheerness. It can also be used to layer over vampy shades for more depth.
Dior Pink Veil (654) Ultra Gloss ($26.50 for 0.21 oz.) is a coral-tinged pink with soft gold and pale pink shimmer. It is mostly opaque, though some of the natural lip color peeks through. New for Spring (and it doesn’t show up as limited edition on Sephora), it’s definitely an apt hue for the season–soft but still boasts plenty of color.

FINAL THOUGHTS: This is a shade that definitely leans coral but doesn’t pull orange, so it should work for both cooler and warmer skin tones. It’s a nice color for both spring and summer, as there is enough color for a pop when brighter corals dominate during the hotter months. Even though these don’t last long, they feel amazing on lips, and I think gloss aficionados will love these.
Dior Intimate Bronze (522) Ultra Gloss ($26.50 for 0.21 fl. oz.) is a semi-sheer shade of bronzed nude with gold and copper micro-shimmer. I’vereviewed several other Ultra Glosses in the past, and Intimate Bronze has the same non-sticky, moisturizing formula. It’s very comfortable to wear, even though it slips away within an hour or two and leaves behind a hint of shimmer as it wears away. I like this particular shade because you can easily wear it alone, but you can also use it to add a bit of sunkissed bronze to your favorite lipstick. It also works well for the summer and fall season!

RECOMMENDATION: If love sheer, non-sticky lipgloss, Dior Ultra Gloss is exactly that. And if you don’t mind reapplying every two hours or so, I think you’d really like these.
