Dior Espiegle (687) Dior Addict Lipstick ($31.00 for 0.12 oz.) is described as a “punch of pink.” It looks like a fuchsia pink in the tube, but it’s much tamer swatched and applied. It’s a lightly cool-toned, medium pink with iridescent shimmer. On my lips, it brightened and added some cool-toned pink coloring. Guerlain Rose Ensoleille looks similar on but is a bit warmer overall. Guerlain Rose Piquant is cooler-toned. The shimmer was reminiscent of Revlon cupcake, which is more lilac and pigmented.
This shade wore away in a mere two hours, which is quick for a lip product–a lot of this range lasts three hours, which is decent for something as balm-like in texture as this is. The texture is slick, lightweight, and very comfortable on the lips. It also applies evenly and slides on without tugging or dragging. It is somewhat hydrating but not enough where I’d describe the formula as a moisturizing one. The color is sheer, which is on par with the range and expected results (supposed to have a “veil” of color), so don’t let the color in the tube intimidate (or mislead) you!
This wasn't quite as hydrating as anticipated--it was just lightly moisturizing but not enough where I'd describe it as a hydrating formula. It was also a bit quick to wear away.

The Dior Addict Lipstick formula is creamy, balm-like, and lightweight; it slides on easily and deposits even color while you glide it across the lips. This is actually one of the more pigmented shades from the range that I’ve experienced–it’s semi-sheer to semi-opaque as there’s a noticeable translucency that allows the natural lip color to come through. As a result, those with redder natural lip color, this will look redder on you still, but the effect is lightening and brightening, even on my less pigmented lips. Candide wore for three hours, and it was somewhat hydrating but not as hydrating as I’d expect.

Dior Charmante (437) Dior Addict Lipstick ($31.00 for 0.12 oz.) is described as a “soft coral.” It’s a shiny, soft coral with strong peach/orange coloring. On my lips, which have some natural pinkness but are not overly red or pigmented, it enhances the natural pinkness and adds warmth, but it looks very, very natural–if you compare bare lips to the swatch photo, you’ll see a definite difference, but from afar, you wouldn’t go, “Oh, she’s wearing color!” Bobbi Brown Pink Seashell is paler. MAC Razzledazzler is more pigmented.
The Dior Addict Lipstick formula is supposed to be hydrating while adding a “veil” of color and “spectacular shine.” Charmante is sheer in color, though not invisible, but it may appear to have more or less color depending on the color and level of natural pigmentation your lips have. It has a balm-like consistency–slick, creamy, and lightweight–that glides on readily and applies color fairly evenly. It’s comfortable to wear, and it was lightly hydrating for the three hours it lasted on my lips.
