Cult Nails Center of Attention Nail Lacquer ($12.00 for 0.50 fl. oz.) is described as a “multi sized pink glitter intermixed with a color shifting micro glitter that goes from gold to orange.” It contains several sizes of pink glitter with smaller silver and gold glitters that are in the “background” so-to-speak all suspended in a clear base. I went through other glittery top coats I’ve reviewed, but I wasn’t able to find one quite like this; so if you have any dupe suggestions, please feel free to share!

The consistency of Center of Attention was refreshingly thin; it wasn’t too thin, but it wasn’t thick or gel-like as some glitter top coats can be. It felt very normal, and it still applied well without clumping up in places. I was able to apply a single coat and pull it across the nail and have the glitters evenly distribute. One coat provided good coverage for layering so the nail was covered but not so dense that you couldn’t see the color coat. For reference, I applied two coats of this alone on my thumb nail, and it’s semi-opaque. To avoid a noticeable texture to the nail, apply a thicker top coat. I usually get a week of wear with Cult Nails’ glitter top coats.

Cult Nails Faded Nail Lacquer ($12.00 for 0.50 fl. 0z.) is described as a “light grey with subtle blue undertones.” It’s a pale, cement gray with a subtle cool undertone (read more neutral on me, but it looked more cool-toned in the bottle) and a cream finish. MAC Inert is warmer, more taupe-like. Nubar Earthen is very comparable (but needs a top coat to have similar shine). China Glaze Pelican Grey is darker and has shimmer.

Faded was fully opaque after two coats of polish.  It had a fantastic formula that flowed fluidly across the nail without streaking, bubbling, or pooling along the edges of the nail.  It dried down to a glossy finish (you could skip a top coat).  I liked that it didn’t get too dark or cool-toned, so it appeared as a lighter, airy kind of gray, rather than a stormy color.  I typically get a week of wear out of Cult Nails’ formula with very minor tip wear but no chipping.

Cult Nails Love at First Sight Nail Lacquer ($12.00 for 0.50 fl. 0z.) is described as a “bright pastel influenced purple.” It’s a light-medium lavender-pink with a warmer undertone and a cream finish. OCC Pansy is pinker. Essie Nice is Nice is lighter and less pink. NARS Pokerface has shimmer and is purpler. Zoya Perrie is a touch darker but is quite close.

Love at First Sight was opaque after I applied two coats of polish. The consistency wasn’t too thick or too thin, and it was easy to apply–I didn’t have any issues with the polish bubbling, streaking, or pooling along the edges of the nail. It even dried a bit faster than the average polish, and the final dry down is shiny and glossy. I think you could skip the top coat if you only add it for shine, but it will still look lovely (and just a bit glossier, depending on the top coat) if a top coat is added. I typically get a week of wear out of Cult Nails’ formula with very minor tip wear but no chipping.

Cult Nails Nakizzle’s Shizzle Nail Lacquer ($12.00 for 0.50 fl. 0z.) is described as a “bright take on a traditional pastel blue.” It’s a brightened, light-medium sky blue with a cream finish. Deborah Lippmann On the Beach and NARS Koliary are both darker blues. NARS Kutki is much lighter. Chanel Coco Blue is not as bright, almost subdued/gray. OCC Pool Boy isn’t quite as true blue–it has some aqua in it. Nubar Blue Hydrangea is the same way, where it is isn’t quite as blue and looks slightly aqua in comparison.

Nakizzle’s Shizzle applied nicely with a really lovely consistency that wasn’t too thick or too thin, so it flowed evenly and smoothly across the nail.  It was fully opaque in two coats, but there was some streakiness when I applied the initial coat that the second coat fully covered and evened out.  For a pastel blue, it was one of the least streaky formulas I’ve encountered.  It dried down slightly faster than the average nail polish, and the finish is naturally glossy and shiny.  I typically get a week of wear out of Cult Nails’ formula with very minor tip wear but no chipping.

Cult Nails You’re My Dandy Lion Nail Lacquer ($12.00 for 0.50 fl. oz.) is described as a “soft, but bright, yellow with a perfect finish.” It’s a buttery, warm yellow with a creamy finish–and very true that it’s bright yet not neon and there is a softness to the color as a result. There is a subtle pearl shimmer to it, but it’s nearly impossible to see. NARS 15 Minutes is lighter. NARS Amchoor is darker, brighter. MAC Al Fredo is darker and sheer. Deborah Lippmann Yellow Brick Road is also a bit darker and sheer. Deborah Lippmann Yellow Fever is a bit darker and warmer.

The formula of this was impressive; it was not perfect, but it was nearly so, and for a yellow cream, both noteworthy and much-welcomed. The initial coat was a little streaky, but the second coat covered the streakiness entirely and left behind a beautiful, smooth, and even result. It’s fully opaque after two coats, and the texture wasn’t too thick or too thin–just right. The polish flowed well across the nail without bubbling or pooling along the edges. It dried to a naturally shiny finish as well, so you could skip the top coat. I usually get a full seven days of wear out of Cult Nails’ formula with very minor tip wear but no chipping.

	It's a good polish, period, and for a yellow, it's one of the best I've come across. The initial coat is somewhat streaky, but a second coat covers and smooths out the color entirely!

Cult Nails Let’s Get Dirty Nail Lacquer ($12.00 for 0.50 fl. oz.) is described as a “wax finish taupe.” It’s a mauve-ish taupe with a very faint shimmer that is barely visible if the polish is applied on its own, and then the shimmer is more noticeable if a top coat is applied. It has a waxy or rubbery finish–mostly matte but not a chalky, flat matte. Chanel Frenzy is browner and a cream, so it doesn’t have the wax finish. Barielle Belly Dance is very similar if Let’s Get Dirty has a top coat layered over it.

Let’s Get Dirty is opaque after two coats of polish, and it had a slightly thick consistency, but thanks to the wax finish, the drying time is quicker than the average nail lacquer. It can pool a bit along the edges if you aren’t careful, due to the thicker formula. I like that it has a versatile finish, because a top coat really does bring out the shimmer and gives it a different look. I usually get a full week of wear with very minor tip wear and no chipping with Cult Nails’ formula.

	It's a fun finish, and it works well with a top coat for those who prefer a shinier finish over something more matte. I also appreciated that the more matte finish did not emphasize ridges or my nails' natural texture.
