The Summer Season: La Prairie Corail Lipstick

The color itself is smooth, rich, and lasts a solid six hours on me. Yes, six hours! before it starts to fade a bit. Surprisingly, it’s not drying at all–the texture is silky and glides onto lips with ease, but it’s not overly creamy. It’s a stunning shade, and it certainly comes at a price. For those who can afford the indulgence, La Prairie lipsticks are excellent.

The Summer Season: Korres #52 Orange Red Lipstick

Korres #52 Orange Red Lipstick ($18.00 for 0.12 oz.) is a semi-sheer, lightened orange with just a hint of red to it. I’m not sure why it’s named “Orange Red,” because it feels almost like an orange-coral. In case you were curious, it is pretty different from #45 Coral#52 Orange Red is like it’s bolder, brighter naughty older sister. It’s more pigmented, definitely more on the orange side. It has the same glossiness of all Mango Butter Lipsticks, though, and it’s just as moisturizing.

The Summer Season: Korres #45 Coral Lipstick

Korres #45 Coral Mango Butter Lipstick ($18.00 for 0.12 oz.) is a semi-sheer, glossy coral-orange lipstick with SPF 10 in it. It’s a soft, sheer shade, but it still gives lips enough color to pop. You can wear it alone or paired with heavier eye makeup, but it looks natural enough to be worn with little makeup as well. I also love how moisturizing and lightweight the lipstick feels on lips, and the SPF 10 in it is a nice little addition you don’t always find in lipstick!
