I’m a bit under the weather at the moment (I think it’s the flu…), so if I look a bit ragged/tired, that’s why 
This didn’t quite come out how I wanted it, and I really wanted to wipe it all off afterwards, lol. Don’t you hate when that happens? Hopefully tomorrow will go better! (It’s been a rough few days here over at Temptalia HQ – nothing has gone as planned!)
By the by, Deep Dark is way too orange for me. I ended up using it more as a blusher (and had to buff it a bit), so I’ll be exchanging that next week when I go pick up my Colour Forms products (18th). I do like it as a light blush, so we’ll see – I’ll keep experimenting this week before I return it.

As you can tell, I’m trying to put together some looks using the pigments that will come out in Overrich! Today, I tried to kill two birds with one stone I think I like this look, though I feel like it’s actually subtler than I originally envisioned it would be (which is probably a good thing!).
We’re off to the MGM Grand for some much-raved-about (by my mom!) duck noodle soup. Nummos! The Palazzo for the afternoon (aka trip to Barneys)! So much food, I feel like I’ve eaten enough for a few weeks. I fly home tomorrow morning, but a part of me can’t wait to be back home, because I miss Mellan & the boy <3

Kind of funny, because I wore this look to my parents’ house on Saturday, and my mom described it was, “Bitchy.” As in, I looked mean, like a bitch. Coming from my mom, it was about the last thing I thought she said. (She didn’t mean it badly, and I didn’t take offense!)

Mellan update: yesterday, he spent the day at the vet so they could monitor him and take chest x-rays. When we picked him up yesterday afternoon, the vet showed us the x-rays, and he said that he didn’t see anything that stood out to him as abnormal. Today, our vet spoke with some specialists, aand the radiologist also agreed that his heart looked normal. So while there is definitely a heart murmur present, they do not feel it is life threatening at this time. I imagine that unless we start seeing symptoms, we should assume he’s pretty normal (well, for him!). Thank you all SO much for your kind words and thoughts. They meant so much to us I took the above photo tonight, after I did tonight’s look — he always keeps me company by staring into the bathroom (he’s not allowed in it except for baths) longingly!
I got the urge to try and recreate my “Barbie Loves MAC” look, and I did… using not the same products as before, LOL.
