China Glaze Desert Sun Nail Lacquer
Enjoy a Day in the Desert Sun Without the Heat!
China Glaze Desert Sun Nail Lacquer ($7.00 for 0.50 fl. oz.) is described as a “delicious caramel.” It’s a burnt orange–but lightened, not rusty–very much caramel-colored, though a little warmer. China Glaze Orange You Hot is more orange and has shimmer. Zoya Arizona is lighter, brighter. Sinful Cloud 9 is brighter, more tangerine. China Glaze Papaya Punch is more orange, brighter.
This was another high quality shade from China Glaze’s On Safari collection! It’s opaque in two coats–almost one–and dried down a little faster than average and had a naturally glossy shine. It had a beautiful consistency that wasn’t too thick or too thin, so it flowed easily across the nail without pooling or bubbling. I usually get a week of wear out of China Glaze’s lacquers with no chips and minor tip wear.

| I don't have a shade quite like Desert Sun--everything I could think of was brighter--the subdued quality of this makes it perfect for fall. | |
