Burberry Misty Light Glow Natural Blush ($42.00 for 0.24 oz.) is a pale, light-medium pink with subtle cool undertones and a matte finish. MAC Stay Pretty is slightly darker and cooler-toned. MAC Rosy Outlook is lighter and warmer. Illamasqua Naked Rose is similar but darker. MAC Launch Away is a touch lighter. MAC Oh So Fair is slightly warmer-toned.

The texture is incredibly soft and velvety–finely-milled, smooth, and sits nicely on the skin without being powdery or emphasizing imperfections. It’s blendable, and buildable, but it is a lighter shade, so it is better suited for light to light-medium complexions. On my medium skin tone, it is very subtle and adds a faint rosiness. It wore well for eight hours, and it started to fade after nine hours.  The texture and feel of Burberry’s blushes is amazing, but this color is less universal compared to some of the other shades in their catalog so medium and darker complexions may want to look to another shade.

Burberry Hydrangea Pink Light Glow Natural Blush ($42.00 for 0.24 oz.) is a darkened raspberry pink with a barely-there satin sheen. Tom Ford Narcissist is pinker, brighter. MAC Supernova is more shimmery. MAC Amazon Princess is darker, more plum.

This spring, Burberry’s bringing intense colors to their otherwise more muted/softer range–and boy is Hydrangea Pink pigmented!  It’s rich in color and a little goes a long, long way. Just a light tap of the brush on the powder yields intense color on the cheek, so I definitely recommend using a light-hand and a feathery brush when working with it initially.  Because of it’s soft, velvety texture–so smooth it almost feels like a cream–it is blendable once on.  When I wore this shade, it lasted for well for nine hours with no signs of fading.

Cooler complexions should see a bigger difference between this and Coral Pink, the other shade launched for spring.  When blended out on my skin tone, I found them just barely different.  The more extreme you are in your cool/warm undertones, the more likely you’ll be able to tease out the nuances in undertone when these are sheered out. (The more intensely you wear these, the more you’ll see the difference between the two, as well.)

Burberry Coral Pink Light Glow Natural Blush ($42.00 for 0.24 oz.) is a subtly warmed-up dark pink with a hint of coral. It has a soft, satiny finish with a barely-there sheen. MAC Whole Lotta Love is lighter. MAC Supernova is more shimmery, less warm-toned. MAC Mocha is slightly more subdued. NARS Amour is more coral.  Worth noting:  I couldn’t see much of a difference between Coral Pink and Hydrangea Pink (the other shade released in the collection) once applied and blended out. I bought both to review, but I don’t think both are necessary if you intend to wear them sheered out–I do think the nuances will be better seen on cooler skin tones, though.

Again, one of Burberry’s aims for their spring/summer collection was to introduce “radiant colour” into their range. Coral Pink is incredibly pigmented–if you are a fan of NARS’ richness in their blush range, you’ll appreciate the intensity found in the newest addition to Burberry’s blush range. I highly recommend using a light hand or a feathery brush for application.  The texture of the powder is soft as silk, finely-milled, and applies smoothly and evenly (Burberry’s blushes are some of the softest, most velvety powders I’ve come across).  It’s blendable once applied, and Coral Pink wore eight hours well but had some signs of fading after nine hours.

Burberry Earthy Light Glow Natural Blush ($42.00 for 0.24 oz.) is a light-medium brown with subtle warm tan undertones. It has the barest sheen in its finish; not matte but not satin. Giorgio Armani #1 is similar but more beige. NARS Madly is darker, more orange. Burberry Russet is darker, redder. MAC Baby Don’t Go is lighter, less warm.

On my skin tone, Earthy is a light dusting of warmth and natural color; it’s a shade I can use as a light bronzer or as a contour. On lighter complexions, it could be used similarly, but it will be more noticeable as a blusher if desired. It will have a tendency to look invisible on darker complexions, because the color itself will be too similar to the natural pigmentation, but it might work as a finishing powder or as a highlighter on deeper skin tones. It doesn’t have an ashy base color, so it won’t look chalky on darker skin tones.

Burberry’s blush stands out for its incredibly soft, silky-smooth, and finely-milled texture.  It’s like crushed pearls to the touch.  It’s one of the softest blushes on the market, and it’s not even a smidgen powdery.  Those qualities enable it to apply beautifully and lay naturally against the skin.  It doesn’t look caked on no matter how much you apply, and it blends effortlessly.  It has good color payoff, but it’s buildable color, too.  Earthy lasted eight hours and had signs of fading after nine hours.

Burberry Blossom Blush ($42.00 for 0.24 oz.) is a coral-orange–there is the merest hint of pink in the background–with a natural finish, just a smidgen of a sheen. It’s a lot like the just-reviewed MAC Supercontinental, which is barely lighter. MAC Fleet Fast is darker, redder. Chanel Tweed Brun Rose is more orange. Tarina Tarantino Feather is pinker and lighter. Tarte Blissful is brighter, pinker. Tom Ford Flush is more vibrant and a bit pinker. MAC Ripe Peach is more orange, lighter.

Burberry’s Light Glow Natural Blush is a formula designed to have good color payoff, easy application, and yield a healthy glow. A lot of the great coral blushes are limited edition, which means once they’re gone, they’re gone for good.  Blossom is a wearable coral that’s not too pink, but not so orange that it ventures into a reddish area. The texture is as soft as silk, smooth as butter; it’s something you have to touch and feel to appreciate. I didn’t even realize just how soft this powder is until I had played with a few other blush formulas–this was one of the softest, most finely-milled powders.

The finish has a faint sheen, which looks natural and glowy without being shimmery–it doesn’t emphasize pores in the slightest. It actually seems to soften the appearance of them (superficially, not actually).  It applies with good color, no need to be careful but you don’t have to spend awhile building up the color if you have a deeper complexion.  Because of the soft feel, it blends like a dream. When I tested this shade for wear, I was able to get a full eight hours of wear, and it started to fade after nine hours.

Burberry Tangerine Light Glow Natural Blush ($42.00 for 0.24 oz.) is new for spring/summer, and it is a darkened, pink-tinged peach with a mostly matte finish. The Light Glow line is designed to deliver softer, more natural color, so the pigmentation level on this blush is right on target–the color payoff is there but it’s not intense or overdone.  Initially, it seemed like it was too close to Burberry’s Russet, but this is pinker, less brown. It’s not as plum as MAC Darkly My Dear Blush. It’s pinker than Chanel Espiegle, which comes across as more of a true peach in comparison.

It’s called Tangerine but there’s no accompanying official color description, and this is kind of tangerine, but it’s not the first color I’d think of when I hear the word “tangerine.”   I think it’s close enough, and with the way it’s muted down, in line enough not to merit any point deductions.

It’s a soft, easy-to-wear color on both warmer and cooler skin tones, because it’s very much a natural color, and it applies softly without being invisible. I found it impossible to overdo blush with this product, which makes really easy to use. It has a soft, finely milled texture that allows for effortless blending. You won’t have to worry about diffusing harsh lines at all, because the color stretches and blends with a seamless result.  It wears for around eight hours over foundation before beginning to disappear.

I think Burberry has done a stellar job on packaging their line, because they provide the heft of high-end with a metal compact that has the brand’s signature check printed on the outside (as well as on the powder itself).  Many high-end brands like Chanel and Dior house the majority of their products in plastic, and for $42, it’s nice to see something else.  It’s compact, sturdy, slim and portable.  It comes with a nice-sized mirror along with an angled brush (that’s actually soft enough and shaped well to make it usable).

	For a more natural look, Burberry's Light Glow Natural Blush line is one of my favorites. The powder is so silky smooth and easy to blend that it makes the natural look a cinch to achieve.
