Of the shades released in the Rose Gold collection, Beige Gold is the least pigmented–it’s more like a heavily-dosed shimmer finish with less underlying color. You get semi-sheer to semi-opaque color, and there’s an overall lightening of the natural lip color with plenty of shimmer. This shade only hung on for two and a half hours, which is rather short, though not entirely unexpected, given its light coloring. Because of the higher shimmer content, it didn’t glide on easily as the other shades, which tend to be creamier. Unfortunately, this shade doesn’t deliver on the Rich Lip Color promises of a long-wearing, moisturizing, and full color formula.
The lipstick isn't awful nor does it feel like a C- lipstick, but it falls short of nearly every selling point of the Rich Lip Color formula, and so it doesn't live up to the brand's claims.

Bobbi Brown Pink Sorbet Rich Color Lipgloss ($23.00 for 0.24 fl. oz.) is described as a “soft pink raspberry.” I’m not seeing raspberry; there are none of those berry tones you’d expect to see. This is more like strawberry milkshake pink if we’re going to go for a berry concoction as a descriptor! I’d describe as a soft, light-medium pink with subtle yellow undertones and white shimmer. It does bear some resemblance to Angel Pink, which I reviewed previously, except this has shimmer, is a touch lighter, and is pinker. The only other shade that seemed similar was Chanel COnfidence, which is darker and sheerer.
Bobbi Brown describes this formulas as having “the full color coverage of a lipstick” but with “The shine of a gloss.” It’s also supposed to “moisturize, condition, and last throughout the day without feathering.” Pink Sorbet has great color coverage–it really delivers on the full color coverage one is expecting. Despite its lighter hue, it applies evenly for the most part with very slight color lines if you press your lips together. The texture is thicker than a balm, but thinner than the average gloss–it has some slip, but it doesn’t slide all over the place. It’s non-sticky and wore for four hours without drying my lips out. Like the brand’s other glosses, it is mint-scented.
This is an ultra-wearable, natural pink with subtle yellow undertones, so it can be worn both by cooler and warmer complexions. The color coverage is opaque, so for those on the hunt for glosses to deliver more lipstick-like color, check this one out.

Pink Peony wore for five and a half hours and needed a reapplication after six and a half hours. It feels lightweight, despite its creamy consistency, and comfortable to wear. I never have any post-wear problems–my lips don’t feel dry or chapped even after wearing one of these for six hours or longer. My experience with Pink Peony was true-to-formula, which is supposed to be long-wearing, moisturizing, and full color coverage. This is my favorite lipstick formula that Bobbi Brown makes, and I’m so glad to see her continually add new shades to the range.
This will be very flattering on warmer complexions, but I think it will work on cooler skin tones, too, because it has a lot of pink in it. If you have more red in your natural lip color, this may turn a bit coral.

The color coverage was excellent, with full, opaque color in one pass. This formula is supposed to be long-wearing, opaque, and moisturizing, and I could find no fault with Nude Rose, which wore for five and a half hours for me when I trialed it last week. The consistency is creamy enough to enable an easy glide across the lips without pulling or tugging, but it feels thin and lightweight when worn–it doesn’t slip around and cause build-up or lines on the lips if you press them together. It kept my lips moisturized during wear, and my lips didn’t feel worse for the wear afterward either.
If you're in the market for a color that's wearable but noticeable, Nude Rose is a good bet. The color is neutral and natural enough that it will go with a variety of looks and never dominate.

Bobbi Brown describes this formulas as having “the full color coverage of a lipstick” but with “The shine of a gloss.” It’s also supposed to “moisturize, condition, and last throughout the day without feathering.” The coverage is semi-opaque, mostly due to the high shimmer content rather than a lot of color in the gloss base itself, but it’s definitely not full coverage. It has a thin-like consistency that spreads evenly and easily, so it’s not too thin, but it’s not thick at all. The texture is non-sticky and only somewhat balm-like–it has more slip than your average balm. I was able to wear Rose Gold for three hours before it needed a touch-up, and afterward, my lips still felt hydrated. Like the brand’s other glosses, it is mint-scented.
It's a gorgeous gloss, just not as opaque as the brand describes it as, so if you don't mind that, it's totally worth a look. It should be stunning layered over deeper lipsticks, especially reds and berries.

Bobbi Brown Miami Coral Rich Lip Color ($23.00 for 0.13 oz.) is described as a “nectar.” It looks surprisingly orange in the tube, and even still when swatched (but to a lesser degree), but it’s much pinker on the lips. I actually went back and swatched this just prior to writing out the review, because I was like, “What? This doesn’t look right!” It’s more like a pink coral with warm, yellow undertones once applied. MAC Flamingo is less opaque, less creamy-looking and a touch darker. Chanel Flirt is similar but a little less pale. MAC Blossom Culture is several shades pinker. MAC Ever Hip is similar but a touch less pink.
Bobbi Brown’s Rich Lip Color formula is touted as long-wearing, moisturizing, and have “pure, crisp color.” When it first came out, I was pleasantly surprised; it’s a creamy yet lightweight lipstick that glides on easily and delivers opaque color coverage with very little product. It’s also hydrating enough that lips don’t feel dry after four to eight hours of wear. Not all shades wear the same, as lighter shades tend to fade away after four hours or so, while more intense shades (like a red) can wear six hours or longer. Miami Coral managed to make it four hours when I trialed it.
Miami Coral is a great shade for both spring and summer--it will be an awesome transitional shade, too. Because it's not too orange or too pink, both cool and warm complexions should find this wearable.
