A look at Evan Rachel Wood as she walked the red carpet at the 69th Annual Golden Globe Awards held at the Beverly Hilton hotel in Beverly Hills, California on January 15th, 2012. Her makeup was by Toby Fleischman for NARS Cosmetics. On inspiration, Toby says, “Sometimes the stars just align (pun intended) and tonight with nominee Evan Rachel Wood, her look came together so organically. Of course with a Gucci Premiere gown such as hers, it was all about the dress so we wanted to keep the make up clean and soft. When I saw the new NARS Spring collection, it was as if the products were created specifically for this look! We had so much fun getting ready for the big day. We rocked out to some of our favorite tunes (Lykke Li), ate some yummy snacks (cookies of course) and most importantly laughed!”
Makeup Breakdown
Paramaribo Duo Eyeshadow was the exact gilded gold and bronze we wanted to create a soft metallic eye that would pick up the accent of the feathers. Then we used Almay One Coat Nourishing Mascara on the lashes to finish the eye (ok maybe more than one coat!).
To keep the rest of the face feminine, the new NARS Gaiety Blush was amazing for a sheer flush of pink on the cheek along with a swipe of good-old standby NARS Angelika Blush to add a bit of shimmer.
NARS Sex Machine Velvet Matte Lip Pencil topped off with Como Larger Than Life Lip Gloss gave Evan a soft mauve pink lip to complete the look.

Makeup Breakdown
Primer: Oil free Laura Mercier. Love this product oil free but hydrating. I did not want to use any powder on her skin wanted to keep the natural glow.
Foundation: I airbrushed her using Dinair. A lot of the time, airbrushing can leave a dry feel to the skin. Dinair is great as it just feels light on the skin.
Eyes: I used Laura Mercier Metallic Eye Cream and Stila Jewel Eyeshadow Trio Palette — Opal, Rose, Quartz, Amethyst mostly around the lash line.
Mascara: Blue Eyes Physician Formula Mascara Duo
Concealer: Amazing Cosmetics
Blush: Inglot Liquid Blush — great stuff, really easy to use.
A look at Julie Bowen as she walked the red carpet at the 69th Annual Golden Globe Awards held at the Beverly Hilton hotel in Beverly Hills, California on January 15th, 2012. Her makeup was done by makeup artist Heather Currie. Heather was completely inspired by Julie’s classic Reem Acra, peachy-champagne dress. To match her Grace Kelly-esque hair, Heather wanted to create an old Hollywood glam makeup moment with a neutral palette for the face and lips (with hints of pink) and defined, smoky eyes.
Makeup Breakdown
To create the base look, Heather started with an Armani foundation. Next, she applied L’Oréal Paris Magic Smooth Soufflé Blush in Celestial to the apples of Julie’s cheeks to create a radiant, natural and youthful glow
On the eyes, Heather created a winged tip eye with L’Oréal Paris Voluminous Smoldering Eyeliner in Black. She also used L’Oréal Paris Extra-Intense Carbon Black Eyeliner to precisely define the rest of the eyes. Heather used a sheer amount of L’Oréal Paris Infallible Eye Shadow in Continues Cocoa in the creases of Julie’s eyes. She then blended L’Oréal Paris Infallible Eye Shadow in Iced Latte and Eternal Sunshine to create a sultry, smoky eye effect. An extra dab of L’Oréal Paris Infallible Eye Shadow in Iced Latte was used under the eyebrow line to add additional definition and depth
Lips were kept natural with a hint of color using L’Oréal Paris Colour Riche Le Gloss in Golden Splash.
