A look at Naya Rivera as she walked the red carpet at the 69th Annual Golden Globe Awards held at the Beverly Hilton hotel in Beverly Hills, California on January 15th, 2012. Her makeup was done by makeup artist Jo Baker.
Makeup Breakdown
Cleansing Naya’s skin with Proactiv Renewing Cleanser, followed by Revitalizing Toner, made sure her skin was free from all traces of dirt and surface impurities.
I applied Proactiv Oil Free Moisturizer with SPF15 to prime the skin underneath the foundation, creating a soft matte finish. Being oil free, it helps to set her foundation and keep it in place all night long. DiorSkin Nude foundation was ideal, only lightweight coverage was needed. This silky base oozes moisture whilst keeping a smooth finish, showing off Naya’s clear and radiant complexion.
I kept the eyes very simple, a soft grey color wash of Dior Powder Mono Eyeshadow in #053 over her lower lid, lashings of lash enhancing Tarte MultiplEYE mascara and a sprinkling of individual lashes. The most prominent feature of Naya’s Golden Globes look is the NARS Pure Matte lipstick in Mascate, this wonderful berry red shade suits almost every skin tone. It glides on effortlessly with comfortable wear, you forget your wearing lipstick the texture is so yummy and lasts for hours.
A look at Dianna Agron as she walked the red carpet at the 69th Annual Golden Globe Awards held at the Beverly Hilton hotel in Beverly Hills, California on January 15th, 2012. Her makeup was done by makeup artist Monika Blunder. For Dianna’s makeup, Monika was inspired by the spring 2012 fashion shows where the makeup was fresh but still very glamorous. Since Dianna’s red Giles dress was so “va va voom,” Monika focused on the lips to be the stand out feature.
Makeup Breakdown
Monika kept Julianna’s skin simple and fresh with a bit of L’Oréal Paris True Match Super-Blendable Makeup in Light Ivory to give skin a light glow. Since the focus was kept on her lips, only a small amount of L’Oréal Paris Magic Smooth Soufflé Blush in Celestial (Pink) was applied to the apples of cheeks.
The bold red lip stole the show; Monika applied L’Oréal Paris Infallible Le Rouge in Bold Bordeaux for lasting shine and pigment. The eyes were highlighted with a hint of L’Oréal Paris Infallible Eye Shadow in Iced Latte with Vaseline applied over it to create added shine.
The L’Oréal Paris Voluminous Smoldering Eyeliner in Black was lightly applied around the rim of the eye and Monika applied several coats of L’Oréal Paris Voluminous False Fiber Lashes Mascara in Black to complete the look
Her hair was styled by Adir Abergel for Frederic Fekkai. Abergel wanted a simple and chic up-do that complimented the beautiful and intricate texture of the dress.
Hair Breakdown
Adir began by applying Fekkai COIFF™ Bouffant Lifting & Texturizing Spray Gel on the roots and rough dried the hair with his hands. Next he braided the hair, applying a small amount of Brilliant Glossing Cream to give it texture and shine. Once the hair was dry, Adir took the braids apart, raked the hair with his hands, and created a deep sweeping part angled towards the back of the head. Adir gathered the hair in the back, creating sections of little twists and ultimately pinning them together. He secured the look with Fekkai COIFF™ Sheer Hold Hairspray

Her hair was done by stylist Mara Roszak. To complement her Old Hollywood-inspired gorgeous black Dior dress, Mara created a loose braided bun that felt classic and youthful all at once. “Mila has such an overall elegance to her style. I wanted to create a look that would complement the femininity of the dress while still looking polished,” Mara said.
Hair Breakdown
First, Mara treated the ends of Mila’s damp hair to L’Oréal Paris EverStyle Smooth and Shine Serum. She started at the bottom and worked the serum up further into hair for a smooth base. From here, she sprayed L’Oréal Paris EverStyle Volume Root Lifting Spray at the roots to add extra oomph while blow-drying with a round brush
Next, Mila’s hair was gathered into a low ponytail, loosely braided and secured with a hair elastic. This loose braid was then wrapped into a bun shape around the elastic and pinned into place using bobby pins. A touch of Oribe Rough Luxury Molding Wax was used to smooth any remaining flyaways and frizzies. A final mist of L’Oréal Paris Elnett Satin Extra Strong Hold Unscented Hairspray was used to lock in the style for touchable hold.
