Drugstore brand is maybelline. Department store brand is mac. Brand to splurge on is urban decay, smashbox and laura mercier.
I have a three way tie for favourite drugstore brands: Revlon, Rimmel and Annabelle Favourite brand to splurge on: Pretty much anything at Sephora... Love Stila and Urban Decay Favourite brand overall: Quo (Shopper's Drug Mart specialty brand only available in Canada)

Drugstore Brand: probably GOSH, but I don't think they're in the US.. I do like Mark.(avon's makeup brand) as well, or Rimmel. Splurge: Chanel or Clinique. Overall: I don't really have a major brand that I have many many products from. I can't say no brand has ever let me down either. :)
Drugstore: Maybelline, I suppose? Splurge: UD is my weakness, but I WISH I could splurge on some MUFE. Favorite: Urban Decay, for sure.

I haven't bought any makeup from a drugstore brand, however, I use Neutrogena for sunblock and Olay as my moisturizer. The product to splurge on is Guerlain. Everything I buy from this brand seems so worth it. My all over favorite brand is Shu Uemura. They have outstanding foundations and a large selection of point makeup.

My favorite drugstore brand is loreal. I like the hip shadows. Brand I splurge on is Dior. I love there lipsticks. Favorite brand overall is M.A.C.

Favourite drugstore brand: Maybelline, Australis, Almay and DB. Favourite to splurge on: MAC, since MAC is pretty pricey here. Also Lancome, since that is the brand my mum wears. Also, Bodyshop is ok. NYX is another one I always go for. Favourite overall: It's a tie between NYX and Maybelline.

L'Oreal, Dior, ... the last one I'm not sure. I can't say that I have an absolute favorite. I'm still fairly new to the beauty craze. I haven't tried enough products to decide on a fav.

Drugstore: it's kind of a tough race between Revlon, Maybelline, and L'oreal. It's too hard for me to decide! Splurge: Chanel! Overall: has to be MAC! :D

My favorite drugstore brand is NYX. My favorite brand splurge on is NARS (and YSL for the lipsticks!) But my heart inevitably lies with MAC.
