Happy Sunday!

Today, I’m determined to really march through my backlog of holiday palettes to review. I love all of the opportunities to save money that the holidays bring, but I’m totally overwhelmed with how many palettes I have still to review! I’m thinking I might have to roll out some quick reviews to make ’em all happen before the holidays are gone. Any thoughts? :) Hope your weekend has been lovely!

Also, with the holidays right around the corner, one of my favorite places to do my holiday shopping is on Etsy! The reason being is it’s just not the usual place that people I know shop at, so I can get interesting gifts. I’m also a huge, huge supporter of local and independent shops. Though Etsy isn’t necessarily “local,” it feels a lot like shopping local. As an entrepreneur, I really appreciate the spirit and passion that goes into running a small business and doing everything you can to make your lifelong dream and passion a reality. Here are a few of my favorite shops, and you can check my favorites list for more. :) If you have any recommendations, I’d love to hear ’em.

I’m surprised we got through so many of the holiday releases and just general new products and nothing has been added to the Temptalia Recommends list since summer! It’s one of my favorite features on this website, I check it probably more often than I should!

    • Guess I haven’t been in a very generous mood, LOL! I’ll have to make note to go through the archives a bit and make sure I didn’t just forget 😉

I’d say that you’d be perfectly justified in shoving out fast reviews for the last of the holiday palettes. :) Permanent and long-term LE items can always take a backseat for a few weeks.

  4. I’m very curious about the dog collars, I’ll be sure to check those out!
I would really like to read quick reviews from you of the holiday palettes in case you don’t have the chance to review them all…though hopefully you’ll find some good deals out there that you could recommend to us out of the overwhelming number of options!
Hope you’re having a great weekend, Christine!

I you like cake toppers, you should check this store too: A Little Relic
I’m getting married soon, and I think I’ll have them make my topper. :)

  6. Thank you for the link love! :) If only I could reply to comments now :/ I have been getting my video review ready for the new MAC brushes but I hesitate to upload it because of the YouTube comment horror… if I can’t respond to questions, what’s the point? Boo and sad face.

    • Did you convert to G+ or whatever? I think people said you couldn’t reply to old comments, but new comments, you should be good?

      • Google made me convert to Google+ about a month or so ago but nope… still no luck.

        • Are you using YouTube as like… your PAGE or as your personal account?

          • Haha! I love talking technical with you. It’s kind of fun :) Um… I don’t know? YouTube had me sign up with Google+ and then it gave me two different accounts for some reason. So I technically have two Google+ pages on the same email address. One that they made me have and one that I signed up for a couple years ago. Maybe that’s the problem? Unfortunately I can’t deactivate either of them without deleting my YouTube channel.

            • If you want to email Shaun, he can try to see if he can figure it out :)

I just know I have an account that’s my personal G+, and then a page for Temptalia. I’m logged in with my Temptalia page (indicated by the upper right which shows the icon I use for Temptalia’s page).

  7. Thanks, I appreciate the offer :) I have the same setup as you: An older Google+ account that was just personal and then when they made everyone who had a YouTube channel join Google+ several weeks back I have that profile as well (all under the same account and email address though).
