Happy Sunday!

Hope your weekend has been a good one!  We had dinner at my parents’ house yesterday, which was basically the equivalent of typical Thanksgiving dinner except in October. Roast turkey, stuffing, sweet potatoes, and mashed potatoes! Delicious, and we’ll be making some open-faced sandwiches for dinner tonight. Anyone else do Thanksgiving dinner not on Thanksgiving? I swear my parents do it three or four times a year!

Yes, we do! The last couple year’s we’ve taken advantage of this spend $100 get a turkey deal our grocery store does, so we always get an extra turkey by spending $100 two times. So we usually have our second Thanksgiving around April. Such a great idea to have it more than once a year!

Christine sorry this is so random, but do you know anything about theBalm now being available in Kohls stores? I’ve been hearing some things and if it’s true, I’ll seriously jump for joy because I love theBalm :)

    • Hey Cat!

LOL, okay, so that is totally my parents. They definitely stock up turkeys during the holiday seasons when they have the deals.

I haven’t heard anything specifically, but I wouldn’t be surprised since they are available at places like TJ Maxx sometimes!

I realize this post is a couple months old, but I can confirm that earlier this week when I was at my local Kohl’s, I noticed they had moved their makeup displays around. To my delight I saw they now carry theBalm, LORAC, and pur minerals (very excited about the first two). I recently moved to a very small town, so to be able to finally access some decent makeup options without having to drive an hour to Ulta or two and a half hours to Sephora is nice.
