NEWSFLASH! Did you know that maintaining smooth skin and healthy, shiny hair will make it MUCH easier (and cheaper!) to feel and stay beautiful? This month Pretty.Smart.’s resident beauty expert Nina Sutton brings us some little gems of hair wisdom that will keep your mane looking and feeling fantastic without draining your bank account.
This one is a no-brainer: use a good shampoo and conditioner.

We all know that great hair products can cost a lot of money, but they don’t have to. Pretty.Smart.’s product of the month and their beauty expert’s hair care suggestion is Dove Intensive Repair Shampoo and Conditioner. This new hair care system from Dove helps reconstruct dry, damaged hair and gives some strength to your strands to prevent split ends and breakage. Best part – you can get it for less than 5 bucks at Walmart.com
Pretty.Smart.’s Hair Essentials also point out a ton of outside factors that can affect your hair and skin, and provide quick hair tips to easily control them. BONUS TIP: Watch the video below to find out how you can stop something as normal as water in your shower from dulling your skin and hair, then visit Pretty.Smart. for more hair advice and beauty tips.

Preventing split ends, hands down. I got a haircut like 2 weeks ago and I already have split ends! :(
I really like the simple and fast hairstyles video. I love to find out new and simple ways to make my hair look great =D
Deep Conditioning and Split ends! I have such damaged hair from all the dye mistakes I've made i nthe past so I'm big on both of those topics!
Deep Conditioning, because it's true, nobody wants to spend the time and money to get deep conditioning salon treatments. It seems weird to use the deep conditioning thing as an everyday conditioner though...
Weird. I used to intern for Nina at her old P.R. company. She is a very nice lady, glad to see she's doing well. Have to say "Preventing Split Ends: was the most informative, I'm full of them at this time of year.
Please enter me in the giveaway. My favorite was Simple & Fast Hairstyles. I'm always looking for something different to do with my hair. I also like to do things as the title suggests simple & fast. I've always loved Dove soap so I'm sure I'll feel the same about these products. I've gotten best results from store brands so I'm anxious to try these. Thank you. makeupgirl21@comcast.net
I liked -Discover the miracle of deep conditioning. To get deep conditioning with a 1 min product sounds good. Thanks
My favorite was the Healthy-Hair Foundations video - I didn't think to brush my hair before shampooing to help my hair.
I liked the 'Preventing Split Ends' one! I have split ends so it was really informative to see that (:
The slideshow video was kinda cool showing you how to do the different styles. Most were pretty simple, but the one I liked most was the loose bun.
Deep Conditioning! I actually use the intensive repair conditioner, and it does WONDERS for my super-damaged hair!
Ok. I like the how to prevent split ends, I think she gave a good advice about combing the hair with a big comb. great contest!!
My favorite video was "Preventing Split Ends" because that is my problem right now! I've been growing my hair out for my wedding and my stylist said not to cut it! So it's been driving me crazy! -Izzy
