		<description>i had great success cleaning these kinds of sponges using olive oil prior to washing with soap. olive oil dissolve foundation stains, including dimethicones/silicones. right after rubbing sponge with OO, don&#039;t rinse, but right away rub liquid soap. then rinse.</description>

		<description>I agree the effect the SK sponge gives is really flawless, but for those wanting to buy this..I&#039;ve had it (I have the purple one, im not sure if the blue one is still available) for about 3 months and it STAINS. There&#039;s no way you&#039;re going to get around having a permanent orange-ish tint to the top and bottom of the sponge. And if you try to clean it thoroughly, enough to get out the stain, you&#039;re going to get chunks of the sponge falling out. Which is another problem: not necessarily chunks, but small tears do appear after a while. I clean my sponge well after each use, and I know its clean..so the staining isnt a problem with me.
