Project Revamp

If you could revamp shu uemura cleansing oil, what would you change? What would you keep the same? How would you make it an even better product?

I love this product as well! I even use the tiniest drop to clean my makeup brushes, just make sure you rinse throughly. I beleive it conditions them and really cleans them. I don’t have the staining on the tips that my girlfriends have on their goat hair brushes especially.

Hmmm…. I would say the price, but as others have pointed out, the bottle does last quite a while. I would say to make one that doesn’t include mineral oil.

For those that want to try this: next time you’re at Nordstroms, ask the counter for a sample of the one you want to try. They gave me two little bottles, each lasting me a week. I actually refill these for trips, since I use this as a makeup remover.

Definitely the price! … i think the US price is okay compared to the Australian price. Its $65 for the smaller bottle!! But a little goes a long way… I love it! works wonders as a makeup remover and leaves your face feeling oh-so-clean :)

I believe it caused my clogged pores!

It shouldn’t. You are supposed to rub the oil on your face for a couple of minutes and add some water to your face, which turns milky. This ‘milky’ process is supposed to take all the dirts out of your pores, so it shouldn’t clog your pores at all, if you use it properly.

Love it!! Been a fan for over 15 years (back then they only had the original yellow high performance cleaning oil and cleaning water, which was retired years ago)and I still keep a bottle in my bathroom today. Since one bottle lasts a long time, it’s priced just right. Do make sure you use it propertly. 99% of the time people complain about this product because they don’t use it right. The only complain I have is not about the cleaning oil, but the toner. They used to have cheaper and bigger bottle of toner( I think they called it toning water??) They are gone now and the toner they have today is way over priced (and don’t find them better) and forced me to find replacement.
