I would definitely lower the price lol, but I would also change the packaging so that it’s eaiser to use without risking breathing it in.

i would change the fact that when i take a picture with flash, that i can see the white powder
i like that it keeps my t-zone area non oily throughout the day
my MUFE shop is gone in my area =[

I have to agree with the white cast when I take pics it’s so annoying especially when I use this under my eyes! Now I never take pics right after powdering my face, I have to wait for it to be absorbed first! I still love this powder and it’s great but they should lower the price!

  3. I am not afraid of Silicosis but I am afraid of Brokeititis. Come on MUFE you need to lower the price. I opted to buy from Coastal Scents and get 1 oz of Silica Powder Spheres for $4 instead of paying $30 for .35 oz for your packaging.

If you want quality, pay up. It’s awesome. The only thing is, I don’t like how it pops up in the air when I open it. It’s a bit wasteful.

i agree with everyone else.. there’s not much else about it that needs improvement.. and everyone loves better prices :)

  6. The packaging. It’s impossible to get any out when you want to use it! The holes should be larger, and there should be more of them, a la Bare Minerals!

  7. I’d take it off the market. It’s 100% pure cosmetic grade silica powder and nothing else, it costs about $3 an ounce from TKB Trading or Coastal Scents.

I have tried all three, and they are all exactly the same.

This product and the cheaper products are NOT the same. The one sold at Coastal Scents is sold as an INGREDIENT as opposed to a finished product. It says on the site This can be used for slip in small amounts , oil control formulations of mineral makeup. Use in smaller amounts in dry skin formulations and lists suggestions of mixing it with other things.

Its true that this product and the MUFE one are both 100% silica, but they are refined in different ways. According to owner of Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics and well known makeup artist David Klasfeld, the cheap silica is not necessarily refined in a way that passes industry health standards. The HD powder is refined so that each silica bead is under 7 microns in size, but the one at coastal scents does not specifically say this, so you cant assume, even if they appear to look the same.

That being said, I agree that the price for the MUFE HD power is a bit much, so I always swap for it instead of buying it.

I would just say the packaging too. I don’t know if the container needs to be flatter and wider if that would help. I feel a lot gets wasted into the air too
