Project Revamp: Chanel Glossimers

If you could revamp Chanel Glossimers, what would you change? What would you keep the same? How would you make it an even better product?

I bought only one at a Chanel counter. I hated it. The color was gorgeous in the tube but the glitter was gritty and it was desperately not pigmented on the lips. But the biggest thing is that I would make them a non allergen gentle formula. They sting my lips like crazy and dry them out.
I would say they’re brilliant as they are, the best packaging, colour ranges and quality, the only thing that bothers me and it could just be down to the colours I have purchased and that’s the frosty finishes on them, makes them seem kind of old-fashioned.
The Chanel Aqualumieres in my opinion are the best lip glosses on the market, seriously, but the problem with THEM is the lack of colour choices!
The perfect hybrid lip gloss would the glossimer and all its colour choice but in the aqualumiere formula! Droooools!
Bring Sirop back. It was my favorite color… a very wearable peachy pink… and no glitter, which is very rare for Glossimers. It was recently discontinued and I am devastated!
PRICE!!! Everything else is perfect
I’d make them smell better. Sephora has the best smelling gloss ever. Whenever I open my Glossimer, I always wish it would smell like the one I bought at Sephora for half the price.
Oh no, i love that they’re hardly scented! I can’t stand strong artificial smells.
I’d make them more pigmented to show up on my lips and lower the price.
I second that!
Ok I absouluty love love love my Channel Glossimer lipgloss color Mica #131. It’s beautiful on and stays on for a while. The only thing I hate about it and tend to sometimes not reach for it…is the is no scent nor taste. They could give it a scent like vanilla or fruity. I just hate the no taste/scent.
I hate that Mica has zero pigmentation. It’s just large bits of glitter…
Wow Brigitte!!!! Color may not look good on you but looks FABULOUS on me!!! Sorry it doesn’t work for you boo boo
That’s so sad.
I wish it would lighten my lips for a pretty neutral lip but no dice. Glad it works for you, though~
hands down.. the price.
I’d change the scent too. But overall I love the product. It’s enough color for me.
I would say lower the price, yes. I think that Chanel should add a little bit of fragrance and more color options. Perhaps some more from the brown family or the red color family? Everything doesn’t have to be baby pink.
The only thing I would change is to add some more pigmented colors. Chanel seems to be in love with doing light shimmery shades and so many are similar.
Ok, so, I have pretty much every single one that they currently have or have ever made (yep, seriously). The price is groanable. The grittiness of some colors is annoying sometimes. I like that they don’t have a scent, but I really agree mostly with Meredith – at least half of them are either baby pink or practically clear when all is said and done, so I’d like more colors. They used to have more very rich and pigmented colors: reds & purples mostly, but those are long gone. But of course, I love them to pieces
Price should be lower and instead of a doe foot applicator i wish it had a brush one
there’s only one thing..
PRICE!!!!!!!
Mmmmm, assuming I couldn’t change the price, I’d just add a bigger variety of colours and textures. More reds, plums, browns, corals(!); and textures like Sirop/Praline (no shimmer or glitter).
I would love to see them have greater staying power.
lower price or a larger quantity of product
more nonshimmery shades
i love the formula though-possibly my favorite gloss albeit i only have 2 bc of the price
More shades and possibly the price.
lower price
higher pigmentation
I would definitely change how gritty the glitter is. They make my lips itch!
