This is gorgeous color. But then I feel that is the only good quality of this product. It looks stunning once swatched in the hand, but for some reason once you try to apply it on your lid seem like it disappears and so you have to really REALLY work it, which ends up irritating your lid.
Still the edges can be softened up with a brush, and of course you can build up the color using some powder eye shadow, but then for the price tag you would expect far more.
But that is mot all. Creases like crazy. With or without primer. And after few hours it will be gone leaving behind dark creases.
At Nars website this product seem to be described mostly as a base for the eyeshadow, and that would be fine if it wouldn’t crease so badly, ruining whichever look.
Still, the color is gorgeous.
NARS Iraklion Soft Touch Eyeshadow Pencil ($24.00 for 0.14 oz.) is described as a “smoky rose quartz.” It’s a medium, muted brown with warm undertones and a champagne sheen. Tom Ford Beauty Orchid Haze #2 (P) is a powder. MAC Pink Sensibilities #1 (LE, $21.00) is also a powder. Too Faced Amaretto (P, $16.00) is warmer, darker, powder.
