I found perfection! This color seamlessly glides right on so gently, again, effortlessly, producing a lasting until I wash it off line of Royal Navy-blue with Royal purple duochrome and silver micro-glitter! Like a brilliant SAPPHIRE or deep rare TANZANITE gemstone, this color enhances my eye color magically! I’ve been trying, for over a decade, to find another liner to replace a DC’d liquid sapphire I used. This base color IS IT! I love wearing this in all ways eyeliner can be, and I have zero negative comments! I’m head over heels for Marc Jacobs Beauty Highliner Gel Eye Crayons! EACH WILL SWATCH UNIQUE TO YOUR SKIN COLOR & I believe ALL WILL BE FLATTERING on EVERYBODY! From my research, this is what I have concluded, and I am now a devout fan looking forward excitedly for more colors to be added to the line! Neither of the four I have are dupable in any way or even close to swatches of anything in any formula. Yay!
Th(ink) (44) is a deepened, blue and copper-shimmered violet over a blackened base. In a single pass, it had semi-opaque color, but it was very, very buildable and easy to layer with a couple of passes for very rich and intense color. This shade was the creamiest and easiest to apply of the three I tried. Make Up For Ever #8K is bluer, darker, less shimmery. Estee Lauder Untamed Violet is more muted, matte. See comparison swatches.
