Poolside Eyeshadow ($5.99 for 0.064 oz.) is described as a “bright shimmery teal with specks of gold.” It’s a bold, slightly aqua-leaning blue with fine sparkle. It’s listed as “specks of gold,” but it looked more silver to me. It had good pigmentation, though it is a shade that applies better over a base and patted on, because it was powdery. It was slightly faded at almost eight hours of wear. Disney by Sephora Blue Lagoon (LE) is similar. Sephora Collection Surfin’ USA (14) (P, $13.00) is brighter, more metallic. MAC Blue Calm (P, $15.00) is bluer, darker. MAC Parrot (LE, $15.00) is more shimmery. Urban Decay Peace (P, $18.00) is bluer, lighter. NARS South Pacific #1 (P, $24.00) is similar.
