Editor's Review

The Lipglass formula is supposed to be “pigmented, very shiny and can impart subtle or dramatic color” that can be worn “on its own, over lip pencil or lipstick” and will “condition lips.” MAC could use an update on the description as some shades are more pigmented than others but several are sheerer and likely intended to be that way. The formula has a very glossy, high-shine finish with a light-medium weight and moderate tackiness.

I have found that newer Lipglasses (over the last couple of years) are smoother and not quite as tacky as the formula was many years ago. They wear from three to six hours on me and are usually lightly hydrating. MAC recently updated the shade range and packaging for the range (though the formula was said to be unchanged), so worth noting is that... Read More.

MAC recently updated the shade range and packaging for the range (though the formula was said to be unchanged), so worth noting is that with that packaging change came a reduction in quantity to 0.10 fl. oz. (was 0.17 fl. oz.), which may matter for some but not everyone.

Extreme bias but I love formulations like this, effortless ylbb that looks like you did -something-. More sheer on me but in the NC5-NC10 range it's super nice to have light and easy.

MAC's Prrr Lipglass is very easy to apply and it's long-lasting. It doesn't dry out my lips which is amazing since so many lipglosses do, or else they migrate into the fine lines around my lips. This one doesn't migrate at all. I've used it for many years and repurchased multiple times. I give this one 5 stars!!!

A gift for my mother. Perfect for dark skin as a "close to skintone" but enhancing and shining colour. It is is sticky and streaky like all pigmented MAC lipglass glosses. It turns out to be a beautiful brownish colour on dark skin, and not plum at all. But dark glosses that have a finish close to brown, aren't bright plum, plain black are rare these days !

Ordered this with some spare Birthday money I got last week after seeing a great review & swatches on here for the Rihanna lipglass & lipstick for MAC. When the lipglass came I was shocked at how small it is for the price it is a tiny tube! Half the size of the lipglosses all I own. On application it is a thin red with sparkles and a blue undertone. I applied it on bare lips and it was enough to cover my lips and still have some colour. I think it would potentially look better layered with a red lipstick but even on its own its a stunning product. Only niggle is that for the price you don't get enough product.

I love this lipglass - I've used up a whole tube and am halfway through another! It's a great lipcolour to pair with a dark eye, or a neutral eye, or to just throw on when you're wearing nothing but mascara and base product. It doesn't compete with other makeup, yet it doesn't disappear. I wouldn't say it's hydrating but it's not drying, like some lipglasses can be. Staple product for me!

It's definitely NOT a wow. This is by far the most BORING lipglass shade I have ever bought from Mac. I literally swiped it on my lips once and threw it in a drawer. The consistency and formula are on par with Mac lipglasses, it's just the color is so dang boring.

This product is GOOD, but not GREAT. I found it a challenge to get an even coverage, and felt slightly sticky on the lips. If you don't mind fiddling with the gloss or the stickiness then it's alright. I enjoy wearing this over a lipstick (usually MAC Show Orchid or Girl About Town) to amp up the colour, and not have to worry about making a perfectly even coverage versus just applying the gloss alone. Good staying power, nice travel size. Not the best gloss I own, but good.

This is only the harder-to-apply end of the spectrum, but just because it is super opaque and since it is a SHIMMERY gloss, getting rid of the mistakes is just a bit harder. Other than that, it is a lovely color that almost anyone could pull off and looks great for those fancier events without being over-the-top.

Love this sort of color- just opque enough to give a nice, glossy hint of color, but sheer enough so you don't feel overdressed or over-made-up. Perfect for those on-the-go sort of mornings to make you look more polished and like you put a lot more effort into your appearance than you did.

I'd best describe this as a Barbie pink. It's really bright, but not hot pink bright--kind of the like the bright pink of Pepto Bismol. You can wear this alone for a more natural look or over Viva Glam Nicki Lipstick for realllly bright lips. Aside from the stickiness (but this apples to all MAC Lipglasses), this has to be one of my favorite pink lip glosses.

Per-freaking-fection! It glides on and makes your lip lines, if you have them, less noticeable. It's the only gloss I have that has this effect. I usually wear it on it's on or on top of a neutral lip liner.

Like all MAC Lip Glasses, Pink Lemonade is sticky--but it lasts long and has wonderful opacity. It's a bright flamingo pink with some sheen that makes you lips look plump; it also layers well over lipstick. I like to layer it over MAC Lipstick in Creme Cup to create that perfect glossy pink lip color.
