One of the least well known and most underrated mac products ever. When I went to buy it in store the assistant didn’t even know it existed.
Bamboo is a the perfect way to warm up a very fair neutral skin tone. My face looks artificial if I use brown toned bronzers or blushes to try to add dimension and color, but the warm tones in bamboo give me a look that appears totally natural. I use it blended into my hair line all the way down to my cheeks and as a base for blush. (It can also be used alone as a blush for a very subtle look.) It is creamy, easy to blend, and one of the best makeup purchases I have ever made. I use it nearly every day.
If I could own only one colored makeup product, this would be it. It’s sheer but very buildable. Applied lightly, it couldn’t look more natural and pretty.
It’s not actually approved for use in the eye area (as I found out when I finally got around to reading the box, but by then it had become my favorite eye shadow color). I wear this almost every single day. My favorite thing about it is how incredibly it makes green eyes pop!
