My experience with this product could be better. The color is beautiful and the product is highly pigmented in just one coat. But with this color, I recommend starting off with one sheer coat first. My bottle of this product was very thin and runny compared to my other Illamasqua nail varnishes. And it’s best to always wear a base and top coat with this polish because it looks cheap and weird by itself. But this is just experience with this particular varnish I purchased. I am also disappointed that the price went for these polishes. I just don’t have money to be dropping on these polishes unless they exceed my standards.
Illamasqua Stance Nail Varnish ($14.00 for 0.50 fl. oz.) is described as a “fuchsia violet with a glossy finish.” It’s a rich, vibrant magenta with a near-neon brightness. The closest shade I could think of was Urban Decay Miss T, which is very close but has shimmer and a touch pinker. The next closest would be China Glaze Senorita Bonita, which is much darker, purpler, and has shimmer. Illamasqua Obsess is pinker, less purple. Deborah Lippmann Makin’ Whoopee is more fuchsia.
