Temptalia Review

Bite Beauty Damask Deconstructed Rose Lipstick ($28.00 for 0.15 oz.) is described as a “muted dark purple.” It’s a bold, brightened, medium-dark berry-red with cool, blue undertones. It’s one of those shades that seems red, fuchsia, plum, and berry all at the same time. It had rich, opaque pigmentation and applied very evenly and smoothly to the lip without streaking or settling into lip lines. This shade wore well for six hours and left a stain behind. Guerlain Rose Grenat (864) (LE, $51.00) is lighter. YSL Exquisite Plum (22) (P, $34.00) is darker, sheerer. YSL Forbidden Burgundy (12) (P, $34.00) is darker, cooler-toned. MAC Commotion (LE, $20.00) is sheerer. Too Faced Jelly Bean (P, $21.00) is slightly cooler-toned, brighter. MAC Pleasure Bomb (LE, $16.00) is brighter, more matte. Guerlain Provocative (863) (LE, $51.00) is slightly brighter. MAC All Fired Up (P, $16.00) is more matte. Marc Jacobs Beauty Seduce Me (128) (P, $30.00) is darker. Urban Decay Catfight (P, $22.00) is warmer. MAC Lush Life (P, $22.00) is darker. See comparison swatches / view dupes.
