Pros: Foolproof application with fingers or a brush. Flattering color—as close as I’ve ever gotten to the color of my natural blush (light-medium skin with neutral-to-cool undertones). Subtle highlighting effect brightens my skin but isn’t too much to wear to work.
Cons: Sweet, cloying watermelon-bubblegum smell (although it dissipates quickly). Small amount of product relative to price.
Overall: Will repurchase, probably quickly.
Becca Watermelon/Moonstone Beach Tint Shimmer Souffle ($27.00 for 0.20 oz.) is described as a “coral red infused with pale gold.” It’s a muted, pink-coral with warm undertones and a gold shimmer-sheen. Sephora + Pantone Universe Bridal Rose (LE) is slightly cooler-toned. MAC Sweet Samba (LE, $25.00) is less shimmery, darker, cooler-toned, powder. MAC Lust (LE, $30.00) is lighter, powder. MAC Plum Foolery (P, $21.00) is cooler-toned. See comparison swatches / a href=”http://www.temptalia.com/makeup-dupe-list?id=165157″>view dupes.
