Hoopla is described as a “glowing copper.” It’s a brightened, subtly muted medium gold with warm undertones and a metallic sheen. It had excellent pigmentation with a very blendable, long-wearing (eleven hours) formula, though the texture was a hair dry. It was more pigmented and smoother, but it was also more metallic (and therefore, lighter) than the one I have from before. L’Oreal Eternal Sunshine (P, $7.99) is lighter. Colour Pop Get Lucky (P, $5.00) is less shimmery. Tarte No Champagne, No Gain (LE, ) is darker. Stila Vitality (P, ) is more muted. Tarte Up to No Gold (LE, ) is less shimmery. Divergent Golden Honesty (LE, ) is lighter. Sephora Collection Girls Night Out (03) (P, $13.00) is darker. LORAC Unlimited (P, ) is more shimmery. MAC Bao Bao’s Jewels #2 (LE, ) is more shimmery, lighter. Cle de Peau Stellar Gaze #3 (P, ) is more shimmery. MAC Amberluxe #3 (P, ) is darker. Too Faced Prancer (LE, $16.00) is more pigmented. MAC A Glimmer of Gold #3 (P, $21.00) is less shimmery, darker, more muted. MAC A Glimmer of Gold #2 (P, $21.00) is darker. MAC Amber Lights (P, $16.00) is lighter, more muted.
