I’ve yet to be disappointed by a single “Ready” eyeshadow (and I have a LOT of them). Flicker was one of the shadows that was always on my list of “I’ll pick it up one day” shades and when I saw that Sephora was phasing out a lot of the duos and quads, I grabbed the last one of these at my local store. As Christine says in her review, this is such a handy duo because it’s one you can reach for every day and use all on its own for a really nice looks or two. Presto is a fleshy/peach shade with a silky sheen. It works perfectly all over the lid, right up to the brow bone. It’s not too shiny or frost and is pretty much close to my skin tone. Flicker is the sort of colour I can’t get enough of – a slightly lighter version of Inglot 419, MAC Sumptuous Olive or Fiction, etc. – a bronzed olive brown that pairs nicely with Presto and which is just type of shadow I love to wear all year round, though it’s a totally perfect autumn shade. The texture of both of these shadows is unbeatable.
Very interesting duo. The lighter side (Fascinating) appears a creamy white in the pan but actually applies a lot more yellow-gold and seems to get more yellow the more you blend it. Great as a lid or inner corner shade but not ideal as a brown highlighter. The green side is a beautifully metallic gilded green. I’m loving the Ready shadows from BM and would never have known about them without Temptalia and Christine.
