Inspired by her vintage Armani dress and her fresh from vacation tan, iconic hairstylist Oribe channeled classic Hollywood glamour for Penelope’s red carpet style. He created cascading, pinned back waves for a relaxed, elegant look. Oribe used his Imperméable to shield Penelope’s hair from the day’s rain and humidity.
1. Start by working Gel Serum through the hair and then use hot rollers or a curling iron to set the hair. Spray Imperméable or an anti-humidity spray on the hair before using the curling iron to help protect the style and prevent frizz.
2. Brush loose curls into place
3. Accentuate the wave in the front and make sure it is pronounced
4. Clip the hair in place and spray it with Superfine Hair Spray
5. To finish, use a bobby pin and pin the hair back on one side

I don’t like her makeup, it makes her look much older than she really is. :/
I totally agree. She looks better far away….but everything up close is too dark and un-flattering.
wow – for the very first time I am disappointed in her makeup. Her eyeliners is almost always flawless – she’s my eyeliner inspiration!
During the red carpet, her eyes looked like they needed more blending, but this pic is much better. I think their mu is done to show up under the lights on stage, etc – most ppl’s mu looked great during the award show!

No, she looks hard/old the makeup is not doing her any favours – it looks greasy. Her roots are showing as well.
Have got to say, she looks the best out of all of them. Her tan is really pretty, good makeup and hair, nice dress:) And that’s saying something, as I’ve never been a Penelope fan in particular…
The dress is beautiful. Her eye makeup looks terrible. Her lids look wet and her lashes are stuck together. That drives me crazy when people don’t get the clumps out of mascara.
Her eyeliner does look wet. But then so does her eyeshadow to me. I love Penelope in her natural hair color, or darker. She just looks more sexy when she has it black.
I dont like anything on Cruz here. Her makeup looks done by an amateur and her roots need major help.
If you look at her in other pics, you’ll see that she was totally Oompa-Loompa orange. A total misstep from Penelope.
Her lips and eyes are the same pink shade… and I’m not really a fan of matching lips and eyes. She also looks kind of washed out. She should have gone with a smokey eye look! A smokey eye would make her look less tired and washed out, IMO. Also, her dark roots make her look like she’s wearing a wig in the first picture DX Penelope has really nice bone structure, but this makeup is not doing it for her…
I agree it looks wet and just overly… odd. It’s really gross. Penelope is a gorgeous woman, but I have witnessed a lot of faux pas with her make-up over the years (I noticed lately it is making her look much older than she is). Of course, celebrities do not have to be perfect! But she could use make-up more to her advantage, that’s all.

Her tan is perfect but I agree that the hair doesnt suit her at all!! She should have gone with the smoky eye, like those comercials she did for Mango when she and her sis launched their clothing line…she looked amazing there!
I agree it looks very amateur…the hair is also messy and her eyebrows look crooked
with or without make-up, Penelope is gorgeous I think.
I don’t know. I have never found her to be beautiful, but this is definitely not her best look.
