Sephora Contour Matte Gel Eyeliner
Sephora Contour Matte Gel Eyeliner

Sephora Contour Matte Gel Eyeliner ($14.00 for 0.0176 oz.) is supposed to be a “long-wearing, smudge-proof gel” pencil available in ten “intensely pigmented matte shades.” It’s a twist-up pencil, so you’ll notice that they contain less product than the Contour Eye Pencils (which require sharpening). All five shades I tested were mostly matte, semi-opaque to fully opaque in pigmentation, and long-wearing. The texture varies between very lightly creamy (just enough not to tug) and lightly creamy, but they’re not slippery or wet at all. Wear time varies from eight to ten hours with light thinning overall but no smudging or migration. When I wore them in the shower, they seemed fairly waterproof! I prefer the regular Contour Eyeliners a bit more, as I get longer wear and they’re a little creamier (but not slippery), though these are nice, particularly for some of the more unique shades in the range.

Sephora All Black Everything Contour Matte Gel Eyeliner ($14.00 for 0.0176 oz.) is described as a “matte black.” It’s a medium black with a mostly matte finish. It was slightly drier than other shades I tried, and it had semi-opaque coverage in a single stroke. It was buildable to opaque coverage in two layers and lasted for nine hours on me. Guerlain Noir Volcanique (01) (P, $37.00) is darker. Urban Decay Perversion (LE, $19.00) is darker, glossier. MAC Graphblack (P, $16.00) is darker. MAC Smolder (P, $16.00) is darker. Estee Lauder Blackened Black (LE, $20.00) is darker, less glossy. bareMinerals Midnight (LE, $15.00) is warmer. MAC Blacktrack (P, $16.00) is darker. Kat Von D Puro Amor (P, $10.00) is warmer. Make Up For Ever M10 Matte Black (P, ) is cooler. Hourglass Obsidian (P, $16.00) is darker. Ardency Inn Black (P, $19.00) is darker. Tarina Tarantino Tommy Jet (P, $15.00) is darker, warmer. Urban Decay Black Velvet (P, $20.00) is darker, less glossy. Buxom Call Me (P, $17.00) is darker, glossier. MAC Definitely Black (P, $20.00) is darker. First 15 dupes listed, see more:

Sephora Beautiful Monster Contour Matte Gel Eyeliner ($14.00 for 0.0176 oz.) is described as a “matte lime green.” It’s a brightened, yellowed chartreuse with warm undertones and a semi-matte finish. It is lightly creamy, so it glides on well without tugging and deposits good pigmentation in a single pass. It wore well for nine hours on me. MAC Colour Matters (LE, $16.00) is darker, more muted. MAC Sourpuss (P, $16.00) is darker, more muted. See comparison swatches / compare dupes side-by-side.

Sephora On Wednesdays We Wear Pink Contour Matte Gel Eyeliner ($14.00 for 0.0176 oz.) is described as a “matte pink.” It’s a brightened, magenta pink with cool undertones and a matte finish. It had mostly opaque color payoff in one stroke (which is always impressive) and was just creamy enough to apply without tugging but stayed in place well for ten hours on me. No dupes for this one from my stash that I can recall!

Sephora Sea If I Care Contour Matte Gel Eyeliner ($14.00 for 0.0176 oz.) is described as a “matte blue.” It’s a brightened, medium-dark cobalt blue with a semi-matte finish. It had so-so pigmentation in one stroke and was buildable to mostly opaque coverage in two layers. This was slightly less creamy compared to other shades (but creamier than the black shade) but didn’t tug. It wore well for almost nine and a half hours on me. Ardency Inn Dark Blue (P, $19.00) is darker, more muted. MAC Royal Wink (LE, $16.00) is more shimmery. NARS Most Wanted (LE, $24.00) is lighter, more muted. L’Oreal Cobalt Blue (250) (P, $8.99) is darker. See comparison swatches / compare dupes side-by-side.

Sephora Sly Like a Fox Contour Matte Gel Eyeliner ($14.00 for 0.0176 oz.) is described as a “matte terra cotta.” It’s a muted, medium-dark copper with hints of red and a mostly matte finish. It had nice pigmentation in a single pass, and the texture was lightly creamy for smooth, even application and didn’t tug on the lash line. On me, the color wore well for nine and a half hours before thinning. MAC Basic Red (P, $16.00) is darker, brighter. Illamasqua Feisty (P, $20.00) is darker. Bobbi Brown Pink Quartz Shimmer Brick
Bobbi Brown Pink Quartz Shimmer Brick

Bobbi Brown Pink Quartz Shimmer Brick ($46.00 for 0.40 oz.) is described as a “soft, warm pink glow.” It’s a muted, medium-dark taupe-brown with warm undertones and pink and bronze shimmer that gives it a more metallic sheen. Bobbi Brown Nude Glow (LE, $46.00) is less shimmery, darker. Chanel Accent (84) (LE, $45.00) is less shimmery, darker. MAC Taupe Shape (, $21.00) is less shimmery, darker, cooler. MAC Superb (LE, $30.00) is lighter, warmer. See comparison swatches / compare dupes side-by-side.

I was expecting to review the newest Shimmer Brick for summer/fall, but I received this shade (I honestly have been so overwhelmed with new products releasing that I just photographed and reviewed without a lot of thought!), and it was only when I started putting together the written review did I notice! Oh, well, it’s a long-time favorite and has been out for awhile, so no harm in a full review, right? :) Bobbi Brown’s Shimmer Brick formula is an intensely shimmered set of five strips of shades that allow you to customize the overall color (use the top half for a pinker, darker hue, while you can use the bottom half for a lighter, warmer hue) or individually. Together, they are richly pigmented and very shimmery, which gives a beautiful glow to the skin, but it can be over-applied and then emphasize pores. I like using a fan or feathery brush and a lighter hand to build up the shimmer as desired to minimize the chance of overdoing it. I felt like this particular shade was easier to apply than some of the other Shimmer Bricks I’ve tried, almost as if it was smoother with finer shimmer. This may be more of a blush, bronze, or highlighter depending on your natural skin tone. On me, it wore well for eight hours.

Giorgio Armani No. 18 Fluid Sheer
Giorgio Armani No. 18 Fluid Sheer

Giorgio Armani No. 18 Fluid Sheer ($62.00 for 1.0 fl. oz.) is a rich, medium-dark coppery red with lighter gold sparkle. It had sheer coverage, which gives the skin a tint of color and a dewy sheen. A little went a long way, so you can achieve a stronger tint if desired. The sparkle in this shade made it harder to blend over foundation, as it seemed prone to disturbing anything underneath it, but it worked without issue on bare skin. I noticed a few bits of sparkle migrated over night as well, which isn’t a problem I’ve had with other shades in the range. The color itself wore for nine hours. NARS Na Pali Coast (P, $39.00) is less shimmery, more pigmented. MAC Pleasure Model (LE, $25.00) is more shimmery, more pigmented, warmer. Illamasqua Supernatural (P, $24.00) is more shimmery, lighter. Becca Rose Gold (P, $38.00) is more shimmery, lighter. Becca Blushed Copper (LE, $38.00) is more muted, more pigmented. NARS Fervor (Right) (P, ) is darker, more pigmented. NARS Mauritanie (LE, $39.00) is less shimmery. Becca Papaya/Topaz (P, $27.00) is more shimmery, darker, more pigmented, warmer. See comparison swatches / compare dupes side-by-side.

FORMULA SUMMARY | Giorgio Armani Fluid Sheer ($62.00 for 1.0 fl. oz.) is available in fifteen shades that range from sheer beige to sheer yellow to sheer copper. The formula is supposed to “dress skin in an illuminating veil of radiance.” It’s designed to be sheer, though some shades are more buildable than others, and in general, the darker hued shades are going to appear more pigmented and can be used as highlighting blushes or even as blushes (depending on your skin tone) — the brand actually calls out it can be used as “an eyeshadow base, blush, or bronzer” as well as your typical highlighter. It can be used alone, mixed with base products (like foundation, primer, or moisturizing). Some shades are glittery, others are shimmery, and others have very fine shimmer. Alone, I tend to get seven to eight hours of wear with lighter, shimmery shades and closer to ten hours or longer with some of the bolder shades, and it doesn’t seem to impact the wear of my base products (either shortening or lengthening the wear). I like fingertips or a duo-fiber/stippling brush for application using a patting and dabbing motion rather than a lot of sweeping, then a light buffing to diffuse and blend out the edges.

MAC Style Maven Face Kit
MAC Style Maven Face Kit

MAC Style Maven Face Kit ($49.50 for 0.43 oz.) includes six eyeshadows, two blushes, and two lipsticks. It’s a cooler-toned, more purple-based palette. The eyeshadows are disappointing, while the blushes were decent. The lipsticks are okay, but they have a thinner consistency that makes them feel clingier applied (and Girl About Town lost some of its depth). Over the last few years, MAC palettes like these have typically been bigger disappointments, and unfortunately, this year’s Nordstrom exclusives haven’t broken that cycle.

Girls Do Blush is described as a “mauve plum.” It’s a dusty, muted, purple-plum with cooler undertones and a satiny sheen. It had semi-opaque coverage with a texture that was a smidgen powdery, but it sat well on the skin and was blendable. The color wore for eight hours. Urban Decay Rapture (P, $26.00) is more shimmery, lighter. theBalm Cabana Boy (P, $21.00) is brighter. MAC Crazed Imagination (LE, $21.00) is warmer. NARS Oasis (P, $30.00) is warmer. Chanel Rose Temptation (LE, $45.00) is less shimmery. bareMinerals The Indecent Proposal (P, $22.00) is less shimmery, lighter, warmer. See comparison swatches / compare dupes side-by-side.

Shy One is described as a “mid-tone tan.” It’s a muted, medium peach-beige with warm undertones and a mostly matte finish. The texture was on the powdery side, but it didn’t look powdery on the skin and blended out nicely. The color lasted for seven and a half hours on me. bareMinerals The Close Call (P, $22.00) is darker. MAC Cream Soda (LE, $21.00) is brighter. Urban Decay Video (P, $26.00) is darker, warmer. Chanel Caresse (180) (LE, $45.00) is lighter, brighter, warmer. Urban Decay Indecent (P, $26.00) is lighter, brighter. Hourglass Dim Infusion (P, $35.00) is warmer. See comparison swatches / View dupes side-by-side.

Vivacious Vacuum Cleaner Bag is described as a “deep navy.” It’s a blackened purple with a hint of blue and satin finish. It was dry, firm, uneven, difficult to blend out, and had sheer coverage. Applied, the color lasted for seven hours, so I guess there was a pro. Colour Pop Rex (P, $5.00) is less shimmery. Tom Ford Beauty Crushed Indigo (Right) (LE, ) is less shimmery. Sephora + Pantone Universe Moonlight Blue (LE, ) is less shimmery. Disney by Sephora Midnight (LE, ) is more shimmery. Urban Decay Occupy (LE, $18.00) is more shimmery, lighter. bareMinerals Shaken Not Stirred (P, ) is darker. Too Faced Heavy Metal (P, $16.00) is cooler. theBalm #5 (P, $6.50) is lighter. Ardency Inn Purple Hearts (P, $32.00) is more shimmery. Chanel Apparition (LE, $36.00) is lighter, brighter. compare dupes side-by-side.

Malt is described as a “soft pinkish beige.” It’s a softened, medium brown with warm undertones and a matte finish, but it doesn’t look anything like the permanent version, which has a pinky tone to it overall. Since it’s pretty different, I don’t want to muck-up the official list of dupes for the permanent version, but here’s a link that’ll show you similar shades to the one in this palette. The texture was firmer and harder to blend out, and it lasted for seven hours on me.

Nearing Dark is described as a “purple plum.” It’s a muted, medium-dark purple with cooler undertones and a pearly sheen. It suffered from a very firm press that made it difficult to get more than sheer coverage out of it, and it was a challenge to work with. Once on, even though it looked pretty ragged, it lasted for seven hours. Dior Dulcinee #4 (LE, ) is more shimmery, warmer. Tarina Tarantino Poppycock (LE, ) is darker, brighter. theBalm rem (P, $16.00) is darker, warmer. Urban Decay Hoodoo (LE, $18.00) is more shimmery, darker. Cle de Peau Champagne Supernova #2 (P, ) is more shimmery. Chanel Tisse Rhapsodie #3 (LE, ) is more shimmery, darker, cooler. Cle de Peau Champagne Supernova #2 (P, ) is more shimmery. Chanel Campanule (107) (LE, $34.00) is darker, more pigmented. Chanel Campanule (107) (LE, $34.00) is darker, more pigmented. Sephora Collection Getaway (P, $13.00) is more shimmery, darker. Anastasia Iridescent Purple (P, $12.00) is more shimmery, brighter. Makeup Geek Pop Culture (P, $5.99) is lighter, brighter, cooler.See comparison swatches / compare dupes side-by-side.

Performance Art is described as a “sterling silver.” It’s a gold-shimmered, pinky-mauve with a frosted sheen. This version in the palette is dominated by the gold shimmer, which gives it a more pinky-beige kind of coloring (it’s no “sterling silver” though). It had so-so pigmentation with a smooth but firm texture. It wore for almost even hours. Colour Pop Prickly Pear (LE, $5.00) is more shimmery, less pigmented, lighter. Giorgio Armani Flannel (08) (P, $38.00) is darker. Dior House of Pinks #4 (LE, ) is darker, warmer, better quality. bareMinerals Catch Me If (P, ) is lighter. Tarte Make a Mauve (LE, ) is more shimmery, lighter. NARS Dolomites (Left) (LE, $24.00) is lighter, warmer. Makeup Geek Twilight (P, $5.99) is lighter. MAC After Dusk (P, $16.00) is lighter, more muted. View dupes side-by-side.

Shadowy Lady is described as a “blackened plum.” It’s a very dark, blackened eggplant with warm undertones and a matte finish. This shade is part of the permanent range, and its permanent counterpart isn’t exactly the best eyeshadow on the market, but its iterations in palettes is so bad sometimes–including this time. It skips, drags, adheres unevenly, doesn’t blend, and has really shoddy pigmentation. Whatever I manage to get onto the lid wears for seven hours, but it looks terrible. Smashbox Aubergine (P, ) is lighter. MAC Black Plum (LE, $16.00) is lighter. Tarte Boudoir Noir (LE, ) is lighter, more muted. bareMinerals Ensemble (LE, ) is darker. LORAC Nude #7 (LE, ) is cooler. Chanel Pulsion (112) (P, $29.50) is darker, cooler. bareMinerals Ensemble (LE, ) is darker. Bobbi Brown Rich Chocolate (LE, $22.00) is darker, cooler. theBalm Presto (P, $16.00) is warmer. Too Faced Charming (LE, $16.00) is lighter, warmer. Tom Ford Beauty Orchid Haze #4 (P, ) is warmer. theBalm Matt Batali (LE, $16.00) is brighter. theBalm #27 (P, $6.50) is lighter. theBalm Matt Batali (LE, $16.00) is brighter. MAC Graphology (DC, $16.00) is darker, more pigmented. / View dupes side-by-side.

Sweet Allure is described as a “light pearl beige.” It’s a light, pink-tinged white-beige with a frosted sheen. It had good pigmentation with a soft, smooth, and blendable texture (hey, there’s one in every palette!). It wore well for eight hours before fading. Buxom Cocker Spaniel (P, $18.00) is less shimmery, lighter. Urban Decay Sellout (P, $18.00) is warmer. theBalm D2 (LE, $16.00) is warmer. Too Faced Coquet (LE, $16.00) is lighter, brighter. Kat Von D Instaglam (LE, ) is lighter, brighter. Dior Pastel Fontanges #5 (LE, ) is lighter. Ulta Pink (P, $10.00) is lighter. theBalm #14 (P, $6.50) is lighter, warmer. Make Up For Ever I528 Pearl (P, $21.00) is lighter, brighter. Chanel Tisse Venitien #2 (P, ) is less shimmery. Stila Rose Quartz (P, ) is warmer. Dior Trafalgar #1 (P, ) is lighter, warmer. LORAC Blush (LE, ) is more shimmery. Hello Kitty Friendship (LE, ) is less shimmery, lighter. MAC Whisper Pink (LE, $21.00) is more shimmery. View dupes side-by-side.

Naked Dream is described as a “mid-tone pinky nude.” It’s a light-medium, muted pink with subtle warmer undertones and a satin finish. It had mostly opaque coverage that went on evenly with some emphasis of the natural lip lines. It wore well for four hours but was slightly drying over time. Tom Ford Beauty Pink Dusk (P, $50.00) is darker. Kat Von D Lovecraft (P, $21.00) is darker, less glossy. MAC Boca (LE, $16.00) is darker, warmer. MAC Love Happens (LE, $16.00) is lighter, warmer. Colour Pop Ace (LE, $5.00) is lighter, brighter, glossier. Tom Ford Beauty Flynn (LE, $32.00) is lighter. Tom Ford Beauty Addison (LE, $32.00) is darker. Bite Beauty Sable (LE, $24.00) is darker, warmer. MAC Pretty Natural (LE, $16.00) is cooler, less glossy. See comparison swatches / compare dupes side-by-side.

Girl About Town is described as a “bright blue fuchsia.” It’s a brightened, medium fuchsia pink with cool, blue undertones and a satin finish. The permanent version of this has a lot more pigmentation and depth, and the finish is more luminous. This version wore for four and a half hours and left a stain behind but was on the drying side. Urban Decay Menace (P, $22.00) is darker. MAC Tats (LE, $16.00) is cooler, more muted. Clinique Punch Pop (P, $18.00) is brighter, glossier, lighter. MAC Hollywood Cerise (LE, $16.00) is lighter, brighter, cooler. Bite Beauty #004 (LE, $36.00) is brighter, lighter, cooler. MAC Impassioned (P, $16.00) is less glossy, darker, warmer. MAC Viva Glam Miley Cyrus (LE, $16.00) is darker, cooler, less glossy, glossier, brighter, warmer. Tom Ford Beauty Cooper (LE, $32.00) is cooler. Bite Beauty Framboise (P, $24.00) is darker, cooler. MAC Good Kisser (LE, $16.00) is darker, cooler, less glossy, more pigmented, more shimmery, glossier, brighter. Bite Beauty Vigne (P, $24.00) is darker. MAC Red Balloon (LE, $16.00) is darker. Temptalia Asks You

What are your top three tips for organizing your makeup? Share!

Temptalia's Answer1.) Separate out your daily/frequently used essentials (foundation, mascara, etc.) so they are easily accessible and then things you sometimes use but not frequently can be stored elsewhere. 2.) Think about how you use your makeup – do you think “I want to wear NARS today” or are you more like “I need a coral blush” so you can decide how to organize your products. 3.) Donate, pass on, or recycle products you never use.

Kat Von D Thunderstruck Metal Crush Eyeshadow
Kat Von D Thunderstruck Metal Crush Eyeshadow

Kat Von D Thunderstruck Metal Crush Eyeshadow ($21.00 for 0.10 oz.) is described as a “metallic pearl.” It’s a brightened, white gold beige with warmer undertones and a very subtle pink tinge to it. It had more of a pearly sheen than an overtly metallic one. It had good color coverage with a very soft, finely-milled texture that was dense and buttery while still wearing for eight and a half hours on me. NARS Andromeda (P, $29.00) is brighter. Make Up For Ever I414 Yellow Ivory (P, $21.00) is lighter, brighter. theBalm High Tide (LE, $16.00) is less shimmery. Make Up For Ever I514 Pink Ivory (P, $21.00) is darker. MAC Just Gleaming (LE, $20.00) is darker. MAC Satin Ochre (Left) (LE, ) is darker. Chanel Poesie #2 (LE, ) is darker. Tom Ford Beauty Pink Glow #1 (LE, ) is cooler. Charlotte Tilbury Fallen Angel #1 (LE, ) is darker, more muted. Colour Pop Girly (P, $5.00) is less shimmery. Colour Pop Girly (P, $5.00) is less shimmery. Buxom Satin Seduction (P, $12.00) is less shimmery. See comparison swatches / compare dupes side-by-side.

Kat Von D Thrasher Metal Crush Eyeshadow ($21.00 for 0.10 oz.) is described as a “metallic gold.” It’s a brightened, rich molten gold with warm undertones and a metallic sheen. It was intensely pigmented with a really creamy, buttery, and dense texture that blended out beautifully without losing any of its intensity. The texture has a really cream-like feel to it, but it was still easy to work with and didn’t thicken up on the lid. On me, it wore for nine hours before creasing. Too Faced Instigator (LE, $16.00) is darker. Marc Jacobs Beauty The Starlet #5 (P, ) is lighter, brighter. NARS Iskandar (P, $25.00) is darker. Too Faced Twinkle (LE, $16.00) is darker, more muted. Makeup Geek Liquid Gold (P, $6.99) is darker. Anastasia Metallic (P, $12.00) is darker, more muted. Marc Jacobs Beauty The Night Owl #3 (P, ) is darker. Makeup Geek Fortune Teller (P, $9.99) is lighter, brighter. Buxom 24KT Stilettos (P, $12.00) is lighter, more muted. MAC Old Gold (P, $21.00) is darker. Sephora Collection Girls Night Out (03) (P, $13.00) is darker. Sugarpill Goldilux (P, $13.00) is darker. See comparison swatches/ compare dupes side-by-side.

Kat Von D Synergy Metal Crush Eyeshadow ($21.00 for 0.10 oz.) is described as a “metallic bronze.” It’s a muted, medium-dark brown with warm undertones and a soft, gray-ish tinge–it’s almost a taupe brown, but it leans a little too bronze to really be a taupe in my eyes. The texture was soft, blendable, and a little less dense compared to some of the other shades, but it still applied really evenly and smoothly to bare lids, though it has a little fall out during application if you aren’t careful. It started to crease after eight and a half hours of wear. LORAC Mocha (P, ) is more shimmery, lighter. Too Faced Amaretto (P, $16.00) is less shimmery. Clarins The Essentials #9 (LE, ) is warmer. Makeup Geek Night Life (P, $6.99) is more shimmery, cooler. Make Up For Ever ME612 Silver Brown (P, $21.00) is lighter. Make Up For Ever D652 Celestial Earth (P, $21.00) is warmer. Too Faced Tiger’s Eye (LE, $16.00) is warmer. Laura Mercier Burnished Rose (LE, $23.00) is less shimmery, darker, cooler. NYX Bedroom Eyes (P, $6.00) is more shimmery. Viseart Copper (P, ) is cooler. Cle de Peau Satin Moon #2 (P, ) is lighter. Tarte Pretty (LE, ) is less shimmery. Anastasia Gilded (LE, $12.00) is lighter. Kat Von D Depeche (LE, ) is lighter. Kat Von D Nephilim (LE, ) is lighter. See comparison swatches / compare dupes side-by-side.

Kat Von D Raw Power Metal Crush Eyeshadow ($21.00 for 0.10 oz.) is described as an “iridescent intense garnet.” It’s a medium-dark, reddish-burgundy wtih warm, orange undertones and a frosted sheen. The texture was very dense and thicker, and it made it prone to almost over-applying color–it looks like it is almost “powdery” in the swatch, but it’s really how it thickens. It is very pigmented, and I’d highly recommend applying with less pressure than you think to ensure a smooth, opaque result. It wore well for nine hours before fading. Le Metier de Beaute Fire Lily (P, $30.00) is more shimmery. MAC Cranberry (P, $16.00) is less shimmery. Urban Decay Gash (DC, $18.00) is less shimmery. MAC Crimson Tryst (LE, $16.00) is less shimmery, darker, cooler. Sleek MakeUP Sunset #2 (P, $9.99) is brighter. Sleek MakeUP Sunset #8 (P, $9.99) is lighter, brighter. Zoeva Warm Notes (P, ) is more shimmery, lighter, brighter. Tom Ford Beauty Pink Glow #3 (LE, ) is lighter. Makeup Geek Showtime (P, $9.99) is darker. Colour Pop Drift (LE, $5.00) is less shimmery. MAC It’s Not Easy Having a Good Time (LE, $21.00) is lighter. Make Up For Ever I824 Ocher Pink (P, $21.00) is less shimmery, lighter. Makeup Geek Enchanted (P, $6.99) is darker, cooler. Marc Jacobs Beauty The Siren #2 (LE, ) is less shimmery, lighter, brighter, warmer. See comparison swatches / compare dupes side-by-side.

Kat Von D Danzig Metal Crush Eyeshadow ($21.00 for 0.10 oz.) is described as a “pearlescent violet.” It’s a brightened, medium-dark violet purple with cool undertones and a pearly sheen. It had good color payoff with a fairly soft, smooth consistency that was just a smidgen firm in the pan compared to other shades, so it didn’t have the same buttery feel–smooth but just not as dense. The color translated well on the skin with the same intensity and blended out well. On me, it wore for eight hours before fading. FORMULA SUMMARY | Kat Von D Metal Crush Eyeshadow ($21.00 for 0.10 oz.) is supposed to have “maximum pigment and extreme wear” with a “creamy and lustrous” finish available in eleven shades (though only ten are online at the moment). The texture of the majority of the shades is very soft, dense, thick, and creamy; they feel more like a hybrid of cream and powder than your typical powder. All ten shades were quite pigmented when pressed into the skin with a flat or firm brush (MAC 242), and while almost all of the shades applied well with your regular eyeshadow brush (like MAC’s 239), one shade didn’t work as well (Raw Power) as it was more sparkly and didn’t bind together as well. The formula was long-wearing on me with wear ranging from eight to nine hours. I found the texture comparable to Make Up For Ever Diamond/Metallic finish eyeshadows, though these are larger (0.10 oz. vs. 0.08 oz.)
