OVERALL, Sonic Chic offers nine wearable colors of mineralize blush. These feel smooth and velvety when applied, and the colors are buildable. Each color has good pigmentation/color pay off, but depending on your application technique, they can be sheered out or built up in their intensity. I think with nine different colors, everyone is bound to find one or two that catches their eye. I have a feeling Dainty and Nuance may be big sellers, because they are quite universal.
OVERALL, New View gives you five different duos to choose from, and it will depend on how dark/deep you want to go. I actually thought this was going to be more of foundation compact, but I was informed it is more of a contour/bronze and highlight duo instead. I’m NC30, and Camille, the MA who helped me, advised Deep Dark for me. I picked the one she recommended up, so we’ll see how that goes. I was thinking I was going to try using the MSFN side as a foundation color (since I never got around to buying MSFN itself), so I may end up returning it if it doesn’t work out. Each shimmer color is different and pairs with the matte side, in case anyone was unsure.
I’ll be headin’ out in about an hour to check out Electroflash, Sonic Chic, and New View. I’ll be grabbing swatches (but of course), and I have a feeling I will end up with more than I intended. Here’s what I want from you before I head out: tell me what you’d like me to compare things to (obviously, permanent items would be ideal!), so I can try to do that in-store with colors I don’t own at home.
