High Impact Mascara (Black) ($14.00)

This mascara provides instant gratification by delivering intense, glamorous, dressed-up lashes in a flash! Women crave long, thick lashes and that’s exactly what Clinique’s multi-benefit mascara delivers – dramatic volume and length, fast! High Impact contains a built-in base of polymers that preps lashes automatically. The wide eyed, dramatic look is easily achieved without having to build layer after layer of mascara. This formula binds onto each and every lash, thickening on the spot and lengthening lashes by 36 percent.

High Impact Lip Colour SPF 15 ($14.00)

Available in: Go Fig, Rosette, Plum Nude

This sophisticated lipstick delivers superior colour and moisturization benefits from the moment it’s applied. The multi-tasking formula is long wearing, feather-resistant and has stay-true colour all while helping to provide protection from the sun’s harmful rays. Packed with the amazing treatment benefits that we’re known for, this product provides intense levels of moisturization while helping to protect fragile lip skin from UVA and UVB rays. Dry lips are comforted and lip condition is improved immediately upon application.

Defining Liner for Lips ($14.00)

Available in: Cider, Pomegranate, Sugared Fig

This liner is a wood clenched lip liner pencil with a built-in sharpener. It offers a smooth creamy application due to high level of cushiony feeling oils. The long-wearing formula (up to 8 hours) extends lipstick wear, helping to prevent feathering outside of the lip line or into fine lines. The precision sharpenable point can deliver a thick or more defined line depending on preferred use for customized application. The built-in sharpener provides ease and convenience for on-the-go touch ups and application; no need to tote another piece in your makeup bag!

Just a VERY short post, as I’m going to try to review eyeshadows and the like after I’ve attempted a look with them. Why this new policy? After being utterly disappointed in Dior’s Earth Tones quint in practice, swatches are proving they aren’t enough sometimes. Same with MAC’s mineralize eyeshadows–I just can’t seem to come around to them.

Bobbi Brown’s Metallics launches soon, and with it, metallic lipsticks and metallic eyeshadows. I know people will squeal and lust after the new metallic eyeshadows, because they’re very in line with Bobbi Brown, yet exciting and different. Pictured above are Java, Burnt Sugar, and Iced Blue. Burnt Sugar and Java are much more subdued, with a subtle metallic finish – almost a soft sheen of reflection. I’m eager to check out the full launch when it hits stores!

And swatches of the three, plus Dusk Metallic Lip Color… Continue reading →

For August, I want to see you rock SMOKEY EYES!  Show us your favorite smokey eye–whether it’s colored, gray, black, or even a bit neutral.

The Challenge | Rock the smokey eye! Figure out where you are in your comfort zone, and then take it to the next level…

  • “They’re pretty to look at, but I’d never wear it!” | Your Challenge: Wear it in the comfort of your own home.
  • “I’ve tried it, but I couldn’t wear it out” | Your Challenge: Wear it to the grocery store! Round up some pals (or get the man in your life) to take you somewhere hip and trendy.
  • “There is this one smokey eye…” | Your Challenge: Turn a classic look you do into smokiness with a darker crease.
  • “I rock smokey eyes all the time!” | Your Challenge: Encourage others that wearing smokey eyes can be fun–and that there are many ways to wear them!

Are you ready for Temptalia’s Smokey Eyes Challenge? If you take the challenge, I encourage you to submit the results in picture form to [email protected], as well as all testimonials and written results are happily taken – just include your comment on this post! If you’re a little wary of your photos being on the blog, think about posting them on the forum, where only members can view your photos.
