Therapy Systems Sun Rays SPF 20 ($28.00) is a mineral blush/bronzer with mica, boron nitride, and silk. They are incredibly finely milled, and they blend into the skin effortlessly because they go on so smoothly. Sun Rays is more like a bronzer, and since it’s a powder, you can build up the intensity of the pigmentation to the level you desire. I personally found this applied best using a buffer brush or a very fluffy powder brush, as well.

Simply Flawless O2 Anti-Aging Moisturizing Creme ($39.95) is a facial cream that utilizes Simply Flawless’ patented Oxygen Complex that contains RejuvenOx (TM) PFD. Basically, it is an oxygen molecule that has been shown to be able to permeate the skin layers to the lower layers. Many skin products are topical and tend to sit on the surface of the skin, so you don’t actually get nearly as many of the nutrients and whatnot as you could be using.

It comes in a pump container, which means no light gets in it and no worries about contaminating it with your fingers. You only need one or two pumps to moisturizer the entire face, which makes the product last you a decent amount of time. Even though it looks little, the 1.7 oz you get is about on par with many other mid to high end moisturizers. It is a concentrated cream, so a little is all you need; there’s no reason to pile it on, which means it should last you awhile.  It can also be used both AM and PM, making it a multi-tasking product (but make sure you have a separate sunscreen product then!).

I liked that there was no real scent to this–a lot of fragrance-free products smell clinical, but this is fairly odorless. It also absorbs pretty quickly, and this is always an important factor to me, because I hate waiting for things to dry (anything!). It felt gentle on my skin, and I liked the way my skin looked and felt two weeks later–smooth, fresh, and soft.

I used Goldmode pigment (LE) on lid, Evening Aura eyeshadow (LE) on inner lid, Expensive Pink eyeshadow on middle of lid, Antiqued eyeshadow on middle/outer lid, Satin Taupe eyeshadow on outer lid and crease, Femme-fi eyeshadow (LE) on brow and above crease, Molten Sol liquidlast liner on upper and lower lash line, Graphblack technakohl on lower water line, and Plushlash mascara on lashes. I had Margin blush on cheeks. I wore Sci Fi Delity lipstick (LE) with Soft & Slow lipglass (LE).

** These are recommendations for dupes based on permanent colors available may not necessarily be identical; they are the closest I can think of!

Goldmode = Rubenesque; Evening Aura = Juiced + Nylon; Femme-fi = Shroom; Sci Fi Delity = New York Apple (blotted); Soft & Slow = Lust

Being TRUE Luminance Collection ($86.00) is an eyeshadow, eyeliner, blush, band bronzer palette. All of the colors are the same size, which makes them versatile in terms of what you can use them for–they could all easily be used as eyeshadows. It comes with Matte Peach, Soft Pink Shimmer, Rich Golden Brown, Brownze Glaze, Gilded Pink, and Sheer Gold Metallic. What’s awesome is that they include a step-by-step instruction guide with the palette to help you apply certain looks and get ideas on how to use the multi-tasking palette. The colors included in this are nearly two inches in diameter, which makes them quite large, and I imagine it’ll take someone a very long time to ever finish one. The palette also comes with a Press Definer Brush for lining your eyes.

I loved the gold in this–it’s a very bright pop of sunny yellow gold, which makes it so perfect for summer wear.  There is a melony-peach color that works nicely as a wash all over the lid, as well as a blusher on warm skin tones.  The light pink color would look nice as both a shadow and a blush, depending on the look you were going for.  The colors were all pigmented, and I felt they went on quite smoothly.  There is a good mix of mattes and shimmers, so you’re bound to find yourself with plenty of looks to try.
