An easy neutral look, mostly because I felt like a bold lip today Plus, I’m probably having lunch with the Mama, and she appreciates a good natural kind of look.
By the way, can I just say how much I love discovering new lip combinations? Seriously. If only it was my job in life!
I used Cash Flow paint pot (LE) on lid, Femme-fi eyeshadow (LE) on inner lid, Nylon eyeshadow on middle of lid, Bronze eyeshadow on outer lid and above outer crease, Woodwinked eyeshadow on outer crease, Evening Aura eyeshadow (LE) above inner crease, Ricepaper eyeshadow on brow bone to highlight, Molten Sol liquidlast liner (LE) on upper lash line, Feline kohl power (LE) on lower lash line, Femme-fi eyeshadow (LE) on lower lash line, and Plushlash mascara on lashes. I had Lillicent blushcreme stippled on cheeks with Sunbasque blush overlaid and Dior SkinShimmer in Amber Diamond to highlight. I wore Sci Fi Delity lipstick (LE) with Pink Grapefruit lipglass (LE) and Red Romp lipglass (LE).
** These are recommendations for dupes based on permanent colors available — may not necessarily be identical; they are the closest I can think of!
Cash Flow = Patina; Femme-fi = Shroom; Evening Aura = Juiced + Nylon; Molten Sol = Copper Sparkle (wet); Feline = Graphblack; Sci Fi Delity = New York Apple (blotted); Pink Grapefruit = Lychee Luxe; Red Romp = Venetian + Russian Red
Hey all! You’ll notice in the previous two posts, there are still photos of both my MAC and non-MAC stashes. I also uploaded two videos to coincide with the still photos, too. I’ve been hit with a nice bout of allergies today, so my voice may sound a bit gritty (well, grittier than usual).
I meant to take these photos ages ago, because I finally organized everything back in March, but alas, time is precious and I wasn’t able to find a chunk of time until this afternoon! This post contains photos and brief descriptions of my MAC Cosmetics products.

Just an aside–I just sifted through and donated 52 pounds of beauty products to friends, family, and my local battered women’s shelter (none of which is pictured here). I definitely urge you to give to your local shelters whenever you have new or unused personal care products!
Do you wear different makeup when you go shopping? I’m a power shopper, to be honest. I generally hop to the mall to check out new MAC collections these days, but when I get the urge to go shopping for things like clothes, I am a super shopper. I hit the stores that I know work for me (and my budget), which are stores like H&M, Forever 21, and Express. Today, I probably went through $200 or so in two hours in three stores (the ones I mentioned), and I actually tried everything on in-store.
I hate trying things on in-store, but whenever I do, I have to wear neutral makeup. I think it might result from the fact that I prefer to match my makeup to my clothes, so if I’m rockin’ bright blue eyeshadow, when I view myself in a red shirt, it looks sooo off. I needed a break from dogsitting the two beasts, which meant a nice detour to the mall. I planned (or thought) ahead, so I just went with a minimal face of foundation and nothing else. And I came out with plenty of new summer clothes!
What about you? Do you wear different makeup when you go shopping? Does it even matter to you?
It’s such a quirk, so I thought I would share. By the by, Express is having a fab sale on all that is summer–tanks, camis, shorts, etc.!
