MAC Fabulous Felines: Palace Pedigreed (Eyes)

MAC Fabulous Felines - Palace Pedigreed

Here’s the first of two posts on the Palace Pedigreed part of the Fabulous Felines Collection.

You can find official promotional photos and information on MAC Fabulous Felines here.  I will not have full collection swatches and photos until I’m able to purchase the missing pieces.  I purchased all of these through Bloomingdale’s, which is selling early online (no idea why).

MAC Fabulous Felines: Burmese Beauty (Eyes)

MAC Fabulous Felines - Burmese Beauty

I’m going to break each section into two parts — eyes and lips/cheeks. There are a lot of products, and I definitely want to focus on each part of the collection, it’s hard to digest so much in just one post. MAC Fabulous Felines:  Sneak Peek

Bloomingdale’s started selling the Fabulous Felines collection (at least in part!) online on Monday, so of course, because I wanted to bring you photos and swatches as soon as humanly possible, I placed an order with express shipping.  Bloomingdale’s was missing several items, though (1 blush, 2 lipglasses, 3 lipsticks, 2 liners, 2 pigments), so unfortunately, this is not a full or exhaustive review.

I’m going to try and get everything reviewed and swatched ASAP over the next few hours.  I will fill in any missing products when the collection launches officially and I can buy the ones I’m missing then.

Benefit Ms. Behavin’ Lipstick Lipstick

Benefit Ms. Behavin’ Lipstick ($18.00 for oz.) is creamy mulberry in their Silky Finish line-up.  It’s a reddened berry with dark fuchsia micro-shimmer.  It has a very glaze-like finish–it’s got that look of a sheer lipstick, but it’s not that sheer (though it’s not opaque!).  There’s a nice natural glossiness to the lipstick as well, so it can be worn alone without looking dry.  I find Benefit’s Silky Finish lipsticks are moisturizing, lightweight, and comfortable to wear.

The Sultry Season is a series of posts featuring deep, rich shades of brown, berry, plum, and wine lipsticks and lipglosses — just right for autumn — that runs through October 2010.
