Olivella Moisturizer Oil ($21.95)

This product is categorized as a deep moisturizing treatment for both face and body, and thus, it is targeted for those with very dry skin. It is made from 100% virgin olive oil while it has a light floral scent. It is said to be rich in antioxidants and vitamins. You only need a drop or two to apply to face or body. It is best to do it shortly after a shower, because damp skin better absorbs the product without leaving much in the way of an oily residue. I do find that it takes anywhere from ten to fifteen minutes to totally absorb, which means this is not ideal for those who only have ten or fifteen minutes to get ready in the morning.

I like this product when I think about it as more of a treatment for incredibly dry skin that is best used shortly before bed, so you don’t have to worry about being oily at work or what have you. It can be purchased (and you can learn about Olivella products) at www.olivellasoap.com.

hey doll! You should post pics of the self-tanner you tested out, I’m extremely curious about that product and might try out if theres REAL “before & afters”!

    pleasee? :]
    thanks!

    • Hey Sara! I will try if I can! I’m pretty tan, so even intense tanners don’t tan me where it would make you go, “WHOA!” in before/after photos.

I wonder what the full ingredients list is. If it’s olive oil with a little scent, $21.95 is a pretty stiff price to pay, considering there are very high grade olive oils available at whole foods that cost $8 for a huge bottle.

    • Hey Janine! That’s true – I believe the ingredient list is fairly short, so I don’t imagine there’s much added to it. I know as someone who doesn’t adhere to any olive oil treatments/regimens normally, I’d probably feel more comfortable starting out with one geared as a beauty product rather than going to the store, y’know?

Hi, I’m suprised by this review. I look this site, and I think it’s a lost of money …

Take a “oil olive vierge and organic” in a supermarket is the best thing. Just the olive like ingredient in the list and good for everything (food, hair, skin, etc).

I’m belgian-french girl with lot of italians neighbours, they really laugh when I showed them this review.
This brand is unknow here (in Europe).

Believe us, take a simple olive oil (100% vierge and organic) in the food market it’s the best thing to do ;)

Anyways, love love your blog Temptalia :)

ps : sorry for my english.

    • Hey Ju! Thanks for weighing in! As I said, if it’s just olive oil really, then one wonders if you can just pick it up alone. But for someone who knows little about olive oil and its properties, buying something packaged as a beauty product eases those worries.

Happy to hear your thoughts, please comment more! :)
