NYX Decadent Lipstick
NYX Decadent Lipstick

The Sultry Season: NYX Decadent Lipstick

NYX Decadent Lipstick ($4.00 for 0.14 oz.) is a red-toned brown with a creamy, slightly glossy finish. The color is rich, and definitely decadent, with full-color coverage. It is a less vampy, lighter version of NYX Very Berry Lipstick (which was anything but berry!). I get around four hours of wear with NYX’s Round Lipstick. There’s a slightly synthetic sweet scent in the tube, but I don’t notice it lingering once I’ve applied it.

Is this the right brown for you? Would you wear it?

The Sultry Season is a series of posts featuring deep, rich shades of brown, berry, plum, and wine lipsticks and lipglosses — just right for autumn — that runs through December 2010.

Hi all, normally I’d say, what a great clour, but in this case NOOO not NYX. Though I think I’ve to clarify this comment. I’m from Germany and here nowadays Nyx isn’t available in any drugstores or other. A few month ago we could by in online stores but now they’re not allowed to sell and other online stores in U.S aren’t allowed to send to Germany. So in Germany you can only buy NYX at Douglas a big chain and they sell Nyx thing for the same price as MAC. Though for the jumbo eye pencil they want to take 13 €. Can you believe this a drugstore quality product for the same price as a MAC product?
    NO WAY.

    Hey Christine,

How would you compare this to Very Berry. I saw your post on that and the colours look almost the same.
I have a warm skin tone and have been searching for ‘that perfect red’, lol (seriously every one online seems to be doing the same thing!!)
Which do you reco and which is darker, has more red, brown.. a little help.

Love your blog btw. I read it religiously.
