NARS Angelika Blush
NARS Angelika Blush

Get Angelic Angelika Cheeks

NARS Angelika Blush ($26.00 for 0.16 oz.) is a beautiful blue-toned baby doll pink with silver specks of glitter.  It’s intensely pigmented, and it’s not overly cool, so it’ll be flattering on both warm and cool skin tones.  It has the same smooth, silky texture of the majority of NARS blushes, but it does have a bit of a glittery overlay, which makes it not quite my favorite texture overall.  The flecks don’t seem to be noticeable on the skin, because it seems like the glitter disappears between the brush to the cheek!  There are a few particles, though, but it’s not heavy at all.  The color blends out easily even if you overdo it, though this is a shade that you can’t go too overboard with.

RECOMMENDATION: If you’ve been on the hunt for a pigmented, cool-toned baby pink with a bit of glitz and glam, Angelika might be the one for you.  It’s most flattering on cooler skin tones, but warmer skin tones can wear it well when complemented with certain shades.

This looks pretty. How would this compare with azalea blossom? I have that and I'm wondering if I should bother getting this. Thx!!!

it looks pretty in the pan, but i don't think i could pull it.

Oh, and something that works on warm skin!

Oooh, pretty! I need a cool pink blush, but I'm not into the glitter so much. Is there anything like this minus the glitter?

MAC Well Dressed is similar!

This is my favorite blush ever! I wear it all the time. I have orgasm and Deep Throat, but I find this one suits me the best. I am thinking about trying Desire next.

Why no face pics so wqe can see whaT IT LOOKS LIKE ON THE CHEEKS

NARS Angelika was my first product from the company and it basically bought me into the line to try other things (eye shadows, lipsticks). I'm NW20 with cool to beige undertones and on my skin this sparkly-looking blush is luminous and lovely. It's a perfect everyday-blush and I can blend others with it to enhance the look/hue.

Angelika is one of my favorite Nars blushes. Women my complexion (NC45) should not overlook this one.

Oh yay! We are both the same, NC45, if it looks great on you, then it should on me! I'm adding it to my wishlist!

Is it just me or does it swatch a very different colour to what's in the pan? :/ both are nice but i would be disappointed if i wanted the colour in the pan and then it was that different.. good thing your swatches are here to avoid that :) lol

Hi, could you please do a Nars vs Mac blushes topic, I have a ton of MAc and just started with Nars and I don`t want to buy doubles. So in this case of Angelika blush, what would be a MAc blush dupe? Thanx

Maybe Well Dressed, but the finish and texture are different. Well Dressed is lighter and doesn't have any glitter.

Hey Christine - how does this one compare to Desire? Can you do a side-by-side swatch? Thanks!!

When you say it has a glitter overlay do you mean like Marine Life where it's basically gone after a few swipes or that it is still throughout the product but lays on top? Just wondering because I like the color but not glitter so much!

Lays more on top - but it doesn't disappear like an overspray. It's like the glitter isn't adhered to the base color but has a tendency to sit on top.

This looks like a nice color. I don't know if I can pull off a look with that much sparkle though. Thanks for the swatches!

Does this blush look like Benefit's boxed powder in Dandelion?

It's funny how the blush looks WAY WAY cooler in the pan than it does in the swatch. Wow! I like that you are reviewing some NARS blushes. I might cave and get one after all.

This is one of my favorite blushes, it looks awesome on my NW30 skin!

Angelika didn't work for me at all :( All that was left on my face after a few hours was glitter.

This is my favorite Blush! Its my go to out of the three I own (how I own 25 mac pigments but only three blushes in my whole collection I do not know!) I am a NW15 and it compliments my pale skin better than anything else I have found!

Hi Christine, I know you already have a look using this blush, but could you do it with another look.. perhaps paired with a lighter lip color? Thanks!

Hey Jenni, Realistically - I probably won't, because I have about 20 other blushes I want to show you still!

What would you recommend wearing with a lighter cooler pink blush? I don't have this but have Katie and want to try to make it work....

Smoky eyes, blue eyes! Pale pink lips or fuchsia lips.
