I love her look….very fresh again, but the top and the bottom of her dress look like they were thrown together, like they were two different dresses that were put together….

even if she wasn’t presenting.. they still would need guests – that’s why it’s a show! and she probably would’ve been there for that purpose either way, as a guest and fan our the other nominees.

I concur. The bottom is beaded so beautifully, but the top looks trashy and Madonna-esque circa the “like a virgin” era. I wish the bra cups weren’t stitched together in that way.
Not too sure about the top of the dress, but she looks beautiful. She does clean up nicely!

Miley Cyrus is not particularly talented, incredibly pompous for a 17 (?) year old, nor has she spent enough time on the planet to have earned all this attention, fame, and need I say, millions. There are so many people who are more deserving. When I think of those who really keep our communities going – the police officers, teachers, firemen & fire women, the contractors – and the list goes on and on – then I think of this self-centered twit, well, what more is there to say. However, the media keeps pushing her upon us. . .not sure why. . .tonight I watched her parade on stage during the oscars, as if she had a right to be there, in a low cut, tightly bodiced gown that barely stayed up. . .as usual, I find myself asking “Where are her parents exactly?” Oh, her mother is in the audience. Who in the world would let their child make such a fool of herself? KG
Unfortunately for us she had a movie, she is famous and the people who have the power do think that she deserved to be there otherwise she wouldn’t have been. Plus she has hundreds of thousands of fans. Is she deserving of the fame and money? Not in my eyes or yours either obviously, but that’s just how Hollywood works. So I choose to read a book rather than watch a lot of tv nowadays! You should give it a go, it’s much more relaxing than ranting online about her!
Her dress is pretty, she looked great! She has fans, and you don’t. Why the heck would a fire men or a police men be on stage at the oscars presenting an award?, that’s dumb! The people who ACTUALLY MATTER think she deserved to be there!! Not everyone likes everyone, but she works just as hard as any other actor or actress or singer. You don know what she goes through at practices or at her rehearsels, or maybe at the awards showlast night her tummy waas hurting, and she didn’t feel good. But people like u don’t give a rats butt hole about any possibility or consider anything. You just get on Hereand rant rant rant. If you don’t like her, that’s fine!! But mYbe u should go comment underneath someone you do like!!! MAkes more sense to me

OMG, that’s what I said during her red carpet entrance and when she was presenting the award with Amanda Seyfried, she needs to stand straight. Her posture is absolutely horrible, she needs to work on that while she still young. ( I’m 26, and I feel so old telling her to stand straight…LOL)

I think she only looks small cos of the way her arm blocks off the rest of her waistline in that pose. I’m not a fan of her but she is a good, healthy-sized role model for younger girls, I’ll give her that.

I’m usually not a huge fan of Miley either but i think her hair looks great here compared to when she wears it down. Also I don’t think the dress ages her at all and it makes her look quite tall.

I think that dress is just lovely, and the makeup overall is quite nice. The lashes are TOO much though. I wish ladies would stop going out with these freaking drag queen lashes, it’s just not a look that anyone aside from a drag queen can rock. I don’t think that people should look at you and immediately go, “Holy cow those lashes are crazy” lol. It should probably be something more like, “Wow she looks pretty!”.

I think that the dress would not cause as much controversy if the corset didn’t have frilly seams on the cups. That part’s a little trashy. Personally, I just wouldda had the top cut into a sweetheart neckline with less obvious cups and no seams, and instead of the frill on the neckline, another satin strip the color of the chiffon on the bottom. That would have been simpler, prettier and more tasteful. Other than that, LOVE her look!!!

Dress: soft & pretty and she looks great in it. Makeup: it looks good, but her eyes get lost with that black liner on the waterline. She’s got gorgeous big blue eyes, why not show them off by opting for white liner on the waterline instead?
