2nd the L’O Voluminous Carbon Black.

Classic with an edge. I too have gotten more confident with my look as I’ve gotten older. I know exactly what products to use to achieve the effects I want and how to apply them. I’ve gotten more into middle- […]

Sunscreens. Fragranced products on my face or near my eyes. A lot of eye liners irritate my eyes, not sure what it is. Lip plumpers make my teeth hurt.

When I first saw them, they did remind me of TF. Will check for CT brand when I go to Nordies Stanford next time. Neither Stanford nor Valley Fair carried CT brand in-store last time I checked.

Totally agree with everything else said here.

Another issue for me is lack of transparency and lack of what would normally be considered common sense, when a good skincare or foundation product is changed to an […]

A lipstick from Woolworths.

Laura Geller cosmetics, especially the baked products, are one of my favorite lines, very underrated (or rather undiscovered in most cases). They were in Sephora briefly a few years ago, then were pulled from the […]

I organize and put away behind closed cabinet doors what’s not in the current rotation.

I avoid collecting lots of samples since I end up not using them, but I will use a sample I was curious enough to have made for me.

Raquel Welch and Guerlain.
Diana Ross and Nars.
Natalie Portman and Bobbi Brown.
Gisele Bundchen and Laura Mercer.
Meghan Trainor and MAC.

Love it. Want. Gorgeous photos too.

Is that a trick question? đŸ˜‰

I think primers are interesting, and I have a few, but I rarely use them and find that moisturizer does the job quite well enough for me.

Everything stored away in matching storage, painted-wood, with shallow drawers and easy-glide action, with my most-used for a season rotated onto into a bathroom drawer.

I often mix foundation or tinted moisturizer with my regular moisturizer(s) to change the finish, make it more dewy, easier to apply.

Rarely, I will mix foundation colors to get just the right shade, but only […]
