I bought this shade on a whim and it ended up being the color I liked the most from the Après Chic collection. It's very versatile and looks great paired with a warm smoky eye. On me it looks peachy gold. It does have that metallic quality to it so it's not the creamiest shade but I have terribly dry lips and it doesn't bother them. I have been pleasantly surprised with this shade.
Clearly this is not a color for everyone. It is different and eye catching but that is what most of us love about Mac anyway. The consistency is smooth and wonderful and opaque with one swipe. For most people this color requires a little creativity as far as lip liner and/or lip gloss but that's what makes makeup so fun. I haven't worn it a lot because it is a little high maintenance but I'm still glad I bought it. I pair it with NYX lip liner in Purple Rain and it looks awesome. It also looks good with pink and purple glosses.
It's definitely NOT a wow. This is by far the most BORING lipglass shade I have ever bought from Mac. I literally swiped it on my lips once and threw it in a drawer. The consistency and formula are on par with Mac lipglasses, it's just the color is so dang boring.
I bought this since it was LE even though Christine said it was very similar to Nars Gaiety..... and she was right. If you have Gaiety you definitely don't need this. That being said, it is still a great blush and very beautiful. Very smooth and easy to blend.
I find myself never using this and wish I had passed on it. I can't imagine a complexion this color would flatter. It just makes me look paler than my normal pale but in a whitish peachy way rather than a whitish pinky way.
I wish I liked this color a little more but I just find it to be kinda boring. I find myself hardly ever reaching for it. If you are looking for something natural, I would say this blush is a good fit. The consistency and texture are great.
I am fair skinned and wear this blush way more than I ever thought I would. It gives this beautiful luminous raspberry wash to my cheeks that I LOVE. A light hand and some good blending really brings out the luminosity. I have never regretted buying this shade and would recommend this to anyone regardless of complexion color.
If you are a fan of the Loreal Infallible lip glosses, this is a nice color. These glosses are sticky and can easily stick to your teeth if you don't wait for it to dry before smiling. I adore the peachy champagne color of this shade and would love to find a lipstick the same color. I don't think this shade is the best representation of this line due to the metallic, glittery nature of the shade but I do wish I would have backed this one up since the color is so versatile and the color was LE.
Lucky Green is probably my all time favorite Mac eyeshadows and a perfect example of what makes Mac eyeshadows so popular. This color is very flattering and very versatile. There is a luminous quality to it that just pops and is so beautiful.
I'm sorry but I have tried every eyeliner that is a so called dupe of this eyeliner and none of them have measured up to Perversion. It is THE best pencil eyeliner I have found for the water line. I have repeatedly bought this eyeliner.
