I am NOT a RiRi fan, but I am a fan of red lipsticks. I went with this one because I don’t have Ruby Woo (although I have worn it when borrowed from a friend). This formula is what made me originally fall in love with paint pots and what I felt like was missing for awhile. The color is beautiful and I believe universally flattering. Definitely worth having in your collection.

This particular pp color surprised me a little by how much shimmer it has in it. It’s not terrible but I just didn’t expect it. It applies well, but the shimmer can be a little more than desired, especially if you wanted to use this as just a wash of color on your lid (might vary depend on your skin tone). MAC describes this as a yellow based red which is odd to me because it works perfectly with my blue based red lipsticks (most recently RiRi Woo). It applies easily and is creamy for a pencil. It’s not nearly as dry as some of the other pro wear liners in MACs collection. This is one of my favorite MAC liners.
