Do you find sales associates useful? Sometimes, especially for colour-matching and for comparing formulas (of foundations, moisturizers, etc). I find them most useful in […]

Kerry Washington and Nars. Gorgeous, polished neutrals suitable for deeper skintones (imagine that!).

This is so so beautiful! I wanted Spice the first time around, but I don’t know how much I’ll use the duo together. It’s definitely one to think about though!

I picked up Ivy today despite the poor review because I love the colour so so much! I tried it out on the lower lash line and it does apply a bit patchy, but a second coat fixed that up for me. It requires […]

In the drugstore, Almay, Marcelle, and NYC. In the department store and at Sephora, I’d say Estee Lauder, Lancome, and Elizabeth Arden just because I tend to associate them with older makeup-users, as bad as that […]

But Pale Barley is out of stock everywhere, including The Bay :(

Like many other commenters, I was hoping for a more unique shade for this month!

This is gorgeous, unlike any other shade I own, and – most importantly – will show up on my skin! I’m excited about this’un.

It usually depends on how my skin is doing, but most of the time, I really can’t be bothered. For special occasions, I prime select areas of my face – my nose has really visible pores that I like Benefit’s […]

This is so pretty, but I don’t know that it would show up and not look ashy on me. I’ll definitely swatch it i the store because sometimes, shades like this are surprisingly nice on me. It looks great on you, Christine.

Metallic Jelly is stunning!!

Really disappointed in the performance of these shades! I was excited about Call the Hairdresser, but upon seeing its performance, I think I’m going to pass on it. I agree that Lustres tend to be extremely drying, […]

Thanks Christine! :) It’s not big – only a half hour away from where I am now, but it’s into a much bigger space and I’m so excited! (Mostly excited to set up a more organized makeup storage situation, haha!)

Haul: Nothing in the past little while!
Weekend plans: Moving!!
Do you like to travel?: Yes and no. I’m a person who gets really stressed out by travel planning, packing and prep, but I like visiting warm and […]

Definitely Urban Decay Naked 1. If I don’t know what to wear, that’s my default because I can easily create something pretty and flattering with it.

I really wish that there were contour palettes for darker skin readily available. Anastasia has them through their website, but the shipping is exorbitant. I’d like to see more at the drugstore though!
